The bright spot was that Newton showed heart. No give up in them.

The final was 28-13. Newton has some things to work on, but overall, got the job done. Now comes Jasper. 8)

Don't get me wrong, because I'm behind D'ville all the way. But to get better, I think that they need to schedule better teams,not walkovers. :roll:

Go to the Quarterback Club at 9AM and listen to Coach Barbay. That makes the day right there. Eat in the evening on the way to the game. Get to home games an hour early. walk past the state championship monuments and watch warm-ups. Watch the Eagles"do it" to somebody.

I don't think RB will be a problem. Toddrick Pendland will be missed, but Maclemore and Adams will do great. And Jenkins will be back. We have to come up with an O-line. And we're not taking anything for granted. There are nine games before the playoffs, and we intend to play every one of them. THEN we will think about the playoffs. :roll:

You're excused. Didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Yes, I think you beat us everytime we played. Barbay always tries to schedule the best. I was just pointing out the fact that I think there are about 4 championship from the teams now in23-AA in the l past 10 years. I hope that ya'll have a great year and win state this time. It would be nice to see your name in this century's record book.
