  1. This is always a tough game for me, I played for Silsbee some I am alway for big "S", however my son plays for Lumberton, so I will have to lean toward the LR side on this one. I know this game will be the test for the Raiders.
  2. I understand LR only won a their first two scimmages, however that is a start and that is all our kids need to get on the right path to the furture.
  3. Lumbeton Welcomes BH to 4A with a 3 to 1 win in BH, the games was very hard hitting and their were many mistakes, but over all LR looked pretty strong.
  4. WOW, I am out of town for a few days and the borad goes wild! Oct 6 the tale will be told...as I have been saying for a few months now Lumberton is fired up and ready to hit...hold on baby.
  5. New tunnel, New Logo and a New Winning Additude...snap on your helmets lets get ready to rumble.
  6. Size is not what wins games skill and speed is what wins the games. Big is not that great if your run a 7.0 flat 40.
  7. speed has more to do with a teams success than size in HS football, I have seen some very large teams that could contain the speed from a smaller team, Vidor is a case in point.
  8. I don't think Dayton or BH should be in this poll, they have not proven them self in this area.
  9. I thought I saw a midget on the Vidor team? or maybe it was the Brigadettes?
  10. I think we have all beat the Lumberton thing in the ground, Lumberton's regular season starts Sept. 8. Our kids will be on the field ready to rock...lets see where it goes. Proud Raider Dad.
  11. Firday Night Rock and sooo will the 2006 Raiders...Hit someone every play...hard..maybe twice..
  12. Firday Night Lights and the smell of popcorn in the air...does it get any better!
