Burkeville came real close to beating these guys once. if we could put an entire game together, we might be able to pull off a HUGE upset. but the reality is.... the pitcher was right in the argument about balls and strikes ;) just saying

when compared to the other teams in district, at least Chester has some class. last time they played Burkeville, it was very close until the last inning. i hope for another good game. but i too am partial, since i am pitching this game for Burkeville ;)

If the pitcher strikes out a batter, and the catcher misses it, and the throw to first does not beat the runner, is the pitcher awarded with the strikeout? or not? because I have always thought it was still a strikeout, but the batter reaches on an error.

After going through 3 coaches, and almost having the season canceled, you are going to say they suck? there was no luck in that zavalla game. both teams played great, just Burkeville stepped it up when it mattered most. I'm  not saying Burkeville will win this game just because they beat Zavalla, but I guarantee if they do, you're gonna eat those words Toothless

who is Chirenos best player? have heard much about them this year

they were definitely legitimate homeruns. I don't know the kids name, but I know his number is 18, and he hit two homeruns in Burkeville last Friday.

two very talented teams, this district is now up for grabs. i say the only team that is completely out is Chireno, the rest still have playoff hopes
