Over the past 5 years I have had the pleasure of watching both teams develop (SP and Spurger). When I saw George, Chase, and Daniel in JH, I knew they were going to be great players. Spurger has built a program and a tradition of winning. SP has the best team their school has ever had. While we have played well in Nederland (and very thankful for the use of their facility) it is unfortunate that we cannot play and practice at the same gym and play have our own home court. SP likes the friendly rivalry with Spurger. I look forward to seeing some great basketball from both teams. I also believe that 25 1a is not just a two team race, HD is always athletic, and Evadale has a very good coach, good kids that always play hard. Good luck to all 25 1a it will be another exciting season for all of us.

I agree evadale played good this year and will be tough next year they will suprise people. Spurger will be very good again. I am confused though, its sounds as if you think SP is recruiting. How many new transfers do you think were on the JV or Varsity this year? NONE 25-1a will be very interesting again next year

Hagen Pitched well got in a little trouble in the 5th cause his defense had some errors. #1 on the field and our hearts (J-walker) ;D had some key hits in the game especially in the 6th when he hit a triple with the bases loaded. D-los came in and pithed great inthe last inning. Good luck to the Sharks, they make up their game with Evadale Today. SHARK PRIDE HUhaha 8) 8) 8) 8)

Dont remember the score of HD SP, but I do know SP handled pretty easily. they 10 run ruled them

Not sure, They will be trying to pass a bond in may. Could be a while, won't be next year for sure

The school has a handbook for a reason so there can be no question on what to do in a situation like this one. Follow the rules or suffer the consequences. Sad to see such a talented athlete in trouble, hope he can learn from this.
