So thats about 4-5 players from the 8th grade. Just a different version of Little Dribblers. They grow up and play together. Like Mumford High. AAA Stallions 14U/8th Grade Basketball Team 2011 Roster NUM PLAYER POS HT WT SCHOOL 1 Ty Bennett G/F 6-0 158 St. Anthony School, Dallas, Texas 3 Amon Gilder G 5-10 155 Triple A Academy, Dallas, Texas
Gilder helped Madison win the 3A crown this year. Soph guard with NBA range.
Get out to a fast start, make them play from behind?   Argyle held Dallas Madison, Wilmer-Hutchins, and Estacado to a combined 97 points. All legit teams. That's pretty incredible.
 3. Don't want to foul #4. He was 11-11 at the regional final. All academic now though, I guess.
 4.
If Lubbock could shoot even a lilltle bit this would be a blow out
No one that plays Argyle seems to shoot very well.
 5. A prototypical Argyle half there 'cept for all the turnovers. Most points they've given up in a game this playoff run is 37, and that was to Lovejoy, who oddly enough plays a patient, deliberate game just like them.
 6. You just have to make sure you don't fall too far behind Argyle. They play at a very slow pace, and they are good defensively, so once you're behind it's hard to stay patient and not try to speed up the game by rushing shots. That said I think either Estacado or La Vega will win it all.
 7.
Well then Mexia(no offense Athens) should the representative of region 3 for the state tournament.
Athens beat Mexia in Mexia in early January. I'm not saying that's predictive or anything, I'm just saying.
 8.
I heard, you know how that goes, that Cayuga has already been beat by a lower ranked 1A in their Region.
Not true. Their losses are to Melissa (2A), Lindale (3A), Whitehouse (4A), and Texas High (4A). The Melissa loss was a blowout, and Melissa is looking like a 2A powerhouse so far this season, but the other three were all one possession games towards the end and could have gone the other way. No way Cayuga should be ranked as low as they are.
