We have a boy here in Dayton (14 yr old Freshman) with 59 k's in last 6 games pitched on JV. Throws around 80. ERA under 1. Only 5 walks. Future looks good.

Dayton BH was a good game. That gave Dayton it's 3rd loss of year also, but two in district to BH. I think this is a battle that will be going on for several years to come.

Both teams have great futures in front of them. We will be having this conversation for several years to come. Great job Crosby.  Now go get BH.  Do you know standings for JV teams? I don't know if anyone else cares except us.

Does What Happened ever give credit where credit is due. It's baseball and walks are part of game.

Great game Dayton JV vs Crosby JV. They both played good. Some errors but to be expected. Looks like they both have a good group of kids to contribute next year.  Dayton 7  Crosby 5 in 9 innings. Great game by both schools. Both starting pitchers were very good. Dayton's is Freshman, not sure about Crosby boy but both did great.

I cannot take this DaddyBull crap serious. There is no way anyone from Nederland baseball program would think like him. I have seen Nederland Varsity and JV. They are first class. I know here in Dayton, we are trying to build our program and it starts at the JV level and our NEW coach is doing just that. Our JV is mostly freshman and have a 12-2 record so far and have a lot of talent for the future. My son is enjoying baseball and I could care less which level he plays. He is my son (JV or Varsity) and nothing changes that.  WAKE UP.

Now that's a great attitude to have.

Dayton JV 17  North Forest 0  in 3.  Man I feel for the boys at north forest. It looked like they asked if anyone wanted to go on a field trip and play some baseball.  I honestly don't think they had ever played. To rub salt in, their bus left and they were stranded.

Nederland overall is the best I have seen this year. Solid contender for a run to Austin. Understand they have more coming after basketball.  Very impressive.

Way too early to tell. Dayton will be very young again this year. Only 3 seniors, rest sophomores(4or5) and juniors(4) and maybe a freshman or two. JV will be made up mostly of a very good class of freshman (7-8), so the future looks very good.
