  1. I don't think anyone is bad mouthing this young man. The pressure of playing high school is hard enough. Doesn't need more pressure to live up to the hype going around about him. My son also played top level select (5 yrs) but I don't want him to get caught up in all the hype, so we fly under the radar and let his actions speak for themselves. High School is enough pressure on any freshman by itself.  I wish him luck and hope the best for him.
  2. Home Runs will be a thing of the past next year anyway. BCOR bats make a big difference. Better to learn to hit line drives now. I watched a college using BCOR's at batting practice and all the power is gone.
  3. I understand but you know how kids are. More than likely is Hancock but you never know. On the other B-Ball, I agree.
  4. Hancock is a rumor until official word comes in. Lets not spread second hand rumors. As far as JV B-Ball, I hope you are not talking about baseball coach. We have a good head coach, just needs time (just starting 2nd year.
  5. Have heard rumors but I will not say until confirmed.  One of the current coaches?
  6. Thanks to Coach Stewart for all the years. Enjoy your new job as AD for the BRONCOS. It has been an honor to have my boys play for you. You have earned the right to slow down a little. The program will continue with the staff that you have put together. THANK YOU Time to name the stadium.  Stewart Stadium      Jerry's world already taken by the Cowboys
  7. You are correct. Forgot about composite. We do not use them, slipped my old mind.
  8. BSER or BCOR ok for 2011 season  BCOR only in 2012 High School      Label on barrel of bat
  9. Sounds like this district is BH and Crosby. Should the rest of us even bother playing? I think there are some people in for a suprise or two or three.
  10. Im with you. Wood bats are baseball. All others are for slow pitch softball.  Showing my age.
  11. The rule just stated applies to college this year 2011 and high school in 2012 season.
  12. Eagle07. Am still interested in Heat idea this summer (14 or 15)
  13. Football is over. Lets have some constructive baseball talk. Football has its forum
  14. You are correct in being able to use this forum to discuss but sometimes it seems to get a little out of hand. Our coaches do the best they can and get the best out of every child in all sports. I appologize if taken wrong way. We are all proud to be BRONCOS
  15. Lets let the coaches coach and the fans be fans. Not many of us  have the slightest knowledge of what goes on. We may think we do but we really dont. Coaches get paid to coach and I am sure they do not appreciate us as fans questioning every scheme they throw out on the field. WOULD YOU. I for one will stand up for Bronco coaches and the decisions weather I like them or not.  I'm just a fan
  16. Congrats to the BRONCOS in 2010. Everyone just sit tight and watch coach Stewart and staff work with the incoming boys. Has he let you down in 15 YEARS.  Enough said.
  17. My son is 14 but is a Freshman. He will be playing Varsity baseball in Dayton. Will you be forming teams after HS is over. Has been playing Elite(AAA) or Premier (Major). Played with Brian Hamm (Cyclones) until last yr. Played for TPX 13 last yr. Will be looking for somewhere after HS is over.
  18. Relax. It's high school. The real game starts at the next level in all sports. Let them enjoy the accomplishments and enjoy HS. As we all know, this is the BEST TIME OF THEIR LIFE.
  19. Congratulations to the Cougars and 24-4A. You took it to us on both sides of the ball. May the best team take it all the way to Championship. My hats off to the Cougars for a great game.
  20. I do think Dayton will be a lot better this year. Still very young. Returning Seniors are solid.  Lots of Soph-Jr's and maybe a couple of Fish. Almost all played summer ball until Nov. and are working on their own now. Also had new coach last year. If pieces come together, maybe will contend. Watch out over next couple years as younger boys develope.
  21. Thought I would see what was happening. Wow, glad I don't have a dog in this hunt.  GO Broncos.  Can only go up.
  22. I am just glad baseball is around the corner. Win or lose, you can't beat the game.
  23. I for one am all for it. Would save good pitchers and inprove pitcher depth. Would give others some developement. Pitch limits have worked in select and has improved the incoming pitching at HS level. Should carry on from HS to College.  I VOTE YES.
