Sc did not play possum against bh. If bh hadnt dropped a td pass and had some costly turnovers bh might have won. Sc had 3 scores that were directly related to 2 unforced bh turnovers and a fake punt.

I was at the game and I dont know if bh would have beat them but it would have been very close. Im a huge dayton fan but alot of our fans like to justify why a team beat us like they did. Fact is dayton has not been getting better as the year has progressed and everybody else has. Sc is good but far from unbeatable.

Manvel actually had 3 real close games in the playoffs and got beat by aledo. I looked at the program of manvel from last year and that team had much more size and d1 talent than sc. When I hear people say sc reminds them of manvel I think they must have short term memory loss. Last year manvel had I think 7 kids that were jr and seniors with big time d1 potential.. This year alone dc top 300 manvel has 3 kids. One is a lineman 6"3 315 a qb and a tight end 6"7 245. My point is if a team like manvel can get beat I dont think sc is a shoe in. also remember manvel got to go d 2 bracket.

Cant wait till saturday. I figure since the broncos won the scrimmage this should be an easy game. On a serious note this game could go either way. Dayton has been very inconsistant on offense but maybe this week they will have it together. I think dayton will be starting 9 sophmores split between offense and defense. Young team hope they respond better than they did against sc.

[/quote] Ok trocket help me understand this ;D Here is some stats for you to work with QB's Livinston's Collins - Comp = 30 Attempts = 70 for 42% average........Yards through the air 498 for 5 TD's and 6 INT's. On the ground he ran  104 times for 494 yards and 9 TD's BH's Denny - Comp = 30 Attempts = 53 for 57% average........Yards through the air 508 for 3 TD's and 1 INT's. On the ground he ran  54 times for 540 yards and 10 TD's Denny only played 8 games this year not sure about Collins. Not seeing a superman here Now lets look at the top RB's for each team ;D Livingston's Thomas - Ran 136 times for 624 yards and 3 TD's BH's O'Neal - Ran 119 times for 880 yards and 10 TD's Not sure how accurate these stats are from the Chronicle ,but if what i'm seeing here these guys cant even touch the Twins from Crosby or most RB's in our district. :-X 8) [/quote]collins did miss 3 games I believe. If daytons strategy was to get killed in front of a huge crowd it worked. I mean sc beat porter by basically the same score. Sc is good no doubt but dayton looked horrible and has for the last 3 weeks. Crosby rolled up almost 500 yds of offense on sc and ned completley shut crobys offense down. Im hoping something big happens this week because if not dayton might have negative yds against ned.
