1. LAZEEK, what happened to Davis?  I figured he would be all over the mic.
2. coach needs to calm his tigers down.  looks like they are trying to hard, leading to TO's and fouls.  Get it together.
3.
If P.Heal doesnt calm down hes gonna lose it for Silsbee. Hes playing like hes in Lil Dribblers. Travis need to sit him and calm him down. You have to play team ball against Madison.
that is the lack of discipline i was talking about in a prior post.
4. in reading the post, it sounded like Silsbee was knocking down the free throws.  Is Madison trying to win it with 3's vs down low?
5. Fan, you are the man.  keep them coming.
6. darn work IT dept.  Can't listen to the game.  Can someone post scores from time to time?
7. based on what i heard on the broadcast, the refs were not the reason for the defeat.  Sounds like Spurger's (one of) top scorer was shut down to 0.  Even if he was hot, still doesn't sound like Spurger would have won.  The other team just sounds to strong.
8. someone needs to tell Coach Davis to stop talking.  I know this is his radio debut, but ease up.  Let the pro do his job.
9. That's funny.  Damn funny.

11. I agree with pumping up the kids and keeping them positive.  I think that is huge when the younger players are learning and developing a passion for the game.  Often times the focus falls on the final score and negatives vs the positives, good skill development and team work.  Not many programs can go undefeated, but some kids walk on the court and feel defeated before the game has already started.  Yes, it is important to win games, but keeping the positvie attitude will help the motivate the lesser developed skilled players and make them better players. As far as beating HJ, keep hope alive.
12. i love the excitement Bluedove brings to the board with talk of Jr. High basketball.  I agree with him that there is a special kid in HF, could end up being one of the best atheletes in SETX.  Let's assume he is the best athelete in SETX in 3 years, what else will he have around him?  HJ does not have the best atheletes.  Look at Navasota, Cleveland, and Silsbee (i did not see KTZ play).  They all had better atheletes as a whole, but lack a higher level of coaching.  As i have grown older, i have come to realize coaches play a bigger role in the game vs the athelete.  My piont is HF is a lot more than an athelete from a district title.  It will be nice to see them competitive.  Hang in there Blue.
13. I agree with Fan.  I want to start by saying i am not a Silsbee hater.  I was at the game Saturday and was not impressed by the play of either team.  Silsbee had the better atheletes by far, but appear to lack good discipline.  Some of the coaching moves left me wandering what they were thinking.  Speaking of coaching, that is the only reason HJ was in the game Saturday.  Coaching can make a big difference.  I would like for Silsbee to win and show the strength of district 21-3A.  Good Luck Tigers.
14. HJ looks terrible tonight. No sense on what's going on.  Will be lucky to get out with a win. If they win
15. LAZEEK, can you at least dress like a real broadcaster? Cargo shorts and a hoodie? Coach Knight wears a v neck sweater an Dickie V wears a tie. Show some class.
16. I played against Sweet when it was BCP in the YMBL tourney.  What ever happened to him?
17. ouch.  looking bad for the hawks.
18. i wasn't trying to down play the impact of Donahoe or other HJ players that have come and gone.  I watched RR and played with RR in high school.  Overall, one heck of an athelete.  To average 30+ points a game, w/o the 3 point line, was sick.  I remember a game in Lumberton where he took the ball on a 2 on 1 fast break and this poor kid from Lumberton stood in the lane to take a charge, which he did, but he also got a face full of RR shorts, dunked on and his picture on the BE or Hardin CO news sports page.  Not exactly the way you want to be seen in the paper.
19. sorry SETXSLAM, no offense intended towards you or Donahoe, but Donahoe couldn't carry his jock.  I don't think anyone out of Sour Lake was on the same level.  There have been some good players too. The car accident was unfortunate.  Coach Breithaupt (now UIL BIG CHEESE, Dr. Breithaupt) spoke at the service.
20. No contest.  Rocky Rocquemore.  Lead the state in scoring (84-85?) average 30+ points a game.
21. AAW, I hope you took care of those golden pipes last night after the game.  Nothing like a cold frosty beverage to help out.  Whiskey and Honey will also work. i will bet that LAZEEK finds a way to refrence Tim Tebow or WWE.  I don't think he will drop any profanity, but i guess the fans of the airwaves will have to patrol that.
22. danm those are two big kids.  i predict lots of out side shooting tonight for HJ.  Ricosa (?) just doesn't have the mass to bang with these two.  Run and gun and wear them out.
23. Thanks for the heads up.  That just adds to the reasons as to why i will watch it in person vs on line.
