  1. What board??--last we heard surgery today--out 6-8 weeks
  2. Of coarse lightening could strike-(Lumberton, Vidor) but w/o question the favorites are Dayton, Central, Nederland, and LCM
  3. A.J. Dugat will have something to prove--and he will perform. The secondary is very solid. The only concern I have is with Dayton's LBs--They are athletic and quick but are also light---no predictions here until Thursday
  4. The defense is real but also very young up front--secondary can hang w/anybody and maybe Brown will be back shortly
  5. Read it again! It is NOT me that wanted him to do it. It is incredibly poor sportmanship and just a plain sorry human being that would intentionally injure another player!
  6. " Can't we all just get along? "
  7. I hope you would intentionally try to hurt another player--that's terrible
  8. This Friday will tell us a lot about the Broncos--they will either rise to the occasion or crawl into a hole for a very long season. I am betting on the former with a big win.
  9. Keeping good coaches requires many things. Some of the most important are community support, parental support, and an Administration and Board that does not meddle.
  10. Come on Drake--you just got beat--most folks in this district knew Central was better than Lee--and we were right---no excuses--just get ready for next week
  11. Which Dayton team? If the Dayton that played Angleton shows up-we win by 14-- If the Dayton that played WOS shows up-we get blown out. I have to believe that Coach Jerry Stewart and his staff know full well what they are doing and will have the Broncs ready--there is nothing like getting your nose bloodied to make you focus-- Therefore---Dayton by 14
  12. We can maybe, maybe, maybe, all day long--the fact is that last night WOS was the better team--as to my original point--both teams passing game was not very good-in my opinion they both stunk---62 or 65 yards is not something to be proud of--neither is fighting and being ejected---I hope the dayton boys have learned a lesson
  13. All you needed was two starting linebackers out of the game------obviously
  14. That is my point---ours stunk and so did yours--that is why WOS did not throw the ball in the second half---I am not trying to be a jerk--those are just the facts
  15. He is a very good QB and he will make tons of great plays this year and he ran the ball well in the first half---however last night throwing the ball he simply did not perform well--better days are ahead. Analyze your passing game anyway you want to and it was ineffective-------3 picks and zero points is how I see it.
  16. Ok folks--here is how it went: Dayton won the toss and elected to defer to the second half--the official got it wrong and said we elected to kickoff-our coaches made their case but to no avail. As for the fight: Dayton lost John Gable and Fred Hynson--both starting linebackers and that is why WOS ran the ball down our throat the second half---give credit to WOS coaches for recognizing the now soft area and exploiting it--also give credit to them for abandoning a non-effective passing game in the first half ( 3 picks ) couple that with probably the worst game that Green could have played along with a snap over his head and you have a WOS comeback--- Then on top of that add a much better than expected WOS team with a lot of heart and determination and you have the recipe for a WOS victory!
  17. Dayton beat the crap out of Angleton---and we will see you at our house on the 14th--better bring your "A" game.
  18. You people must have something in your water
