Which is probably why yall lost to Ozen  ;D
I highly doubt it.....  We'll see if lightning strikes the same place twice. It's also the reason we've been as successful as we have been.
Brenham fan you will say that you've been successful but in term you have done nothing for years. Every year the talent is there only to come up short
No doubt, we have had the talent and should have done more, but I wouldn't call it nothing.

So we're 21-2 in the last 2 years, or 34-5 in the last 3 years.
34-5 is very impressive. I'm too lazy to check the record books but now you have me wondering...hmmm? With such an impressive record, how deep has your team  gone with such an impressive record?
We played Aledo in the championship 3 years ago.  3 semi finals in the last decade, winning 2 of them.

 4. I just want to thank everybody for their prayers.  I also wanna thank Houston's channel 11 news for covering this, and to the Round Rock Booster Club as they attempt to raise their goal of $500 at today's scrimmage.  Good luck to my Cubs this morning as they go into this scrimmage with heavy hearts.  God bless.

 6. I think I'm going to root for the L-train this year.  You guys get picked on a lot....  Who knows, I pulled for Ozen last year and we all know how that went.  Good luck this year!
 7. Congrats to Vidor.  Looks like you guys are picking up where you left off.  I give y'all a hard time, but it seems like y'all are poised for another good year.

 13. From KWHI: CUB FOOTBALL PLAYER SUFFERS STROKE JUSTIN DAVIS RECOVERING IN ST. JOSEPH'S ICU         Brenham Cubs football standout Justin Davis is undergoing more surgery at a Bryan hospital after suffering an apparent stroke, Wednesday morning. Justin Davis         He was then taken to St. Joseph’s where he underwent surgery Wednesday to remove a blood clot that had formed in his carotid artery.         However Thursday morning Doctors determined that Davis' condition had not improved overnight.         Doctors then performed a Craniotomy to try to relieve the pressure on his brain.          According to doctors at St. Joseph’s Davis’ stroke was not heat or athletics related, but —the type of stroke usually found in a much older person.         Cubs Head Coach Glen West says Davis complained of a headache about 30 minutes after the team finished its Wednesday practice.  Tests for a possible concussion were negative.         A short time later, West says Davis appeared to be fine—however, his condition quickly deteriorated and he was taken to the Scott and White Emergency Room, where tests revealed he had suffered a stroke.         Doctors told West that the odds are over one-in-a-million that a 17-year old suffer this type of stroke.         Davis is entering his senior year as a starting defensive back and wide receiver for the Cubs.  He was an All-District defensive back in 2011 and as a wide receiver, caught five passes—one for a touchdown in the Cubs scrimmage with Manvel this past Friday.  According to rivals.com, Davis is being recruited by Arizona St., New Mexico St., Texas Tech and Utah. He is also the starting center for the Cubs district-champion basketball team.         Justin is the son of Misty Davis of Brenham and Marlin Thomas of Dallas.         Reverend Randy Wells has announced a prayer service will be held Thursday evening at St. John's AME Church of Brenham.  The service will begin at 7:00 and is open to the public.
Not very good.  PAT good *off the up right PAT good looked awkward and barely cleared the cross bar Missed 43yd FG Fumbled a punt PAT good PAT good Not sure why he wasn't himself.
 16.
To make it clear, it was not an aneurysm. His carotid artery burst in his neck, causing a clot in his brain which led to a stroke. He had surgery yesterday, and again this morning to relieve pressure off of his brain. He will now be sedated for at least 36 hrs and the doctors will know more when he wakes up. My mom got to talk to him before they sedated him and she said the doctors seem very positive at this point. Brenham thanks all of you for your prayers, it's times like these that make us remember football is just a game. God Bless
Thanks for clarifying everything.
 17. He was one off our best players.  A D1 recruit with an offer from Arizona State.  He was also being looked at by New Mexico State, Texas Tech & Utah.
 18.
Dang!  Prayers....football related?
He complained to coach West of a head ache 30 mins after practice.  The doctors said it wasn't football related.  He also said chances of it happening to a 17 year old are 1 in 1,000,000.

 20. Brenham's (WR/S) Justin Davis is in ICU in Bryan after suffering from a stroke yesterday.  He had surgery this morning, but it didn't seem to help.  They will perform another surgery soon.  Thank you....
