[/quote] No doubt, the targets been on our backs all year.  Magnolia and Montgomery are both very good, and very capable of winning the region.  So far, so good, as were 4-0 against those 2 teams this year.  As for Friendswood, y'all gave us all we wanted and then some last year, and came in state ranked this year.  Good luck to y'all!

Jesse Baker in the playoffs- Through 5 playoff games, Baker has gone 7-for-17 with a team-high 2 home runs and 11 RBIs.

Another stat that was impressive in this game, is the 13 K's Schlottmann had. (Especially with the strike zone the home plate umpire had)

Sorry.  Usually the stronger team prefers a 3 game series, so I figured it was Angleton who wanted 1 game.  IMO, Friendswood is better, so that was my reasoning behind that.

Lamar Consolidated won 12-6 last night, to take a 1-0 lead in the series.  The winner of this series will take on the winner of the Brenham/Willis series. (Brenham leads the series 1-0, after defeating Willis 8-1 last night)

Brenham took a 1-0 lead in the series last night with an 8-1 victory.  Willis is in a must-win situation, to avoid being eliminated from the playoffs.  Winner of this series gets, the winner of the Lamar Consolidated/Santa Fe series. (Lamar Consolidated took a 1-0 lead in the series last night, with a 12-6 victory) First pitch @ 7:00 from Langham Creek.
