One was Gilmer, One was Celina, and the other 2 (Pewitt and New Diana) were in blowouts... 46-0 and 64-14.
Never the less, it can be done.  Celina put up some rushing yards.  Sure, Newton is a big underdog, but they do run well.   A few breaks, and who knows?
3 out of 4 games were over by halftime. Celina,Pewitt and Newdiana got the rushing yards in the second half when DF had already pulled most of the starters. just saying expect them for them to be really good. They are.
 2.
where is this guy Arp Tiger who was talking so much noise? I told him Cooper wasn't even in the same ballpark as Ford at RB. If he had OU scouts there I bet they thought they went after the wrong kid.
He was hurt you know. Not an excuse and I don't think it would mattered overall in the win loss column, but he had an injury that most would not have played. Please give that young man credit for stepping up and playing thru the injury. It was a severaly bruised sternum. I also think defensively he was impressive against you guys. 1 caused fumble and recovery, 1 int, 13 tackles. That's pretty good to me and he had at least 6 open field solo TD saving tackles against ford and irvin. Please don't knock a kid you don't know anything about! the game is over!
 3. Great game Wildcats!!!! I would like to wish you boys the best the rest of the way.
 4. I would like to wish the Wildcats the best tonight in the game. Good luck Wildcats from Arp as well. I hope that each and everyone involved kids to fans return home safe. Good luck guys enjoy the game!

Good luck next week
9 carries for 239  2 tds at half!! he had the reins pulled back the 2nd half and ended up with 14 carries for 274 yards and 3 td   with over 50 yards rec
Man it's gonna be fun watching him vs Arp's Defense. Should be a good one. You boys go handle Anahauc they have ran their mouths all year.
 6. yeah they will run there mouth for sure. They have a pretty good defense over there but are a 1 RB team. I think they will play us hard but just won't have any answer for Arp's Defense. Last year was a really good game even though it was 21-7 score. If I remember right they only had 1 big pass and couldn't run on us. We will see. Anyway good luck guys I'll leave you boys alone for 1 more week then Game on. Agreed.

I don't know if he is referring to me or Arptiger or who. I didn't even know there was a troll police. I thought they lived under bridges in fairy tales, but they could exist somewhere like the bigfoot or something. It's amazing what you can learn on wikipedia.org. Now that's off topic.
I was referring to Arptiger.  Just a little helping hand to the folks who seemed to be able to discern what was really going on with that guy.  My guess is he is a SETX guy amusing himself by stirring you all up.
Lefty99 made it clear that the Arptiger perosn was actually a Kville person with 2 logins. Don't confuse any of the junk that the person said as truth. Now on to your post as you can see Arp and DF are among the top 2A winning programs thank you for posting that. I am here on this thread to let it be known that Arp and Kirbyville seem to be on a direct path to each other again. As much as alot of the Kirbyville fans want to believe that Arp didn't respect what the wildcats did last year it trully isn't true. Everyone I know from Arp that Kirbyville played and won a good game and the only feelings hurt there were our own but that was more let down than anything else. 3 years straight getting knocked out in the qtr finals is a tough pill to swallow. But we have and guess what Arp is primed one more time to be back again but with the best team Arp has ever had. Arp may not ever have a better football team than the one they field now. Does that mean Arp will win state heck no it just means we feel real good about our chances and several polls around the state including the AP feel the same. Most people from around the state didn't really believe that Kirbyville would be able to rebound the way they did this year. That is not because no one thought the Wildcats could do it just the odds were against them. I say it is a credit to the community and coaches for being much like Arp and not putting all you have in one season but into the program. Giving each young athlete a chance to train and learn the winning ways of the coach. So honestly from my heart anything that could be said from anyone from my home town would be out of respect and nothing more. It seems that Arp and kirbyville were bound for a rematch as soon as the game was over. There was a lot of smack talked before and after that game. It still continues today between to sports forums and makes for great ready mostly. However I am one that believes that now is the time put all this hoopla to rest until both of these teams can do the work to get back to each other. We know each town has class and now is the time to show it. Agreed.
Man Sloe, this guy JJspeed8 is a joke. Kirbyville has mostly sophmores and juniors on their varsity squad this year and a very speedy JV team that had a fine season this year. Whats funny is that Arp have several returnees this year which I'm assuming thats why Dave Campbell picked them over Kirbyville and they just don't know whats fixing to happen!
they don't have a clue. That Ford kid is the real deal. Seen that first hand when we played yall
Just curious why do you think we don't have a clue? And Arp is not as loaded with seniors as you would think. I think if you look at Arp's team you will notice that next year looks really bright. Someone asked for Arp's stats so I will post them for you guys. points scored: 464 avg p/g 46.4 rushing 293 carries 2471 yards 8.43 per carry 247.1 per game receiving 83 rec 1357 yards 16.35 per catch Passing: Kyle Copeland QB 82-135 60% passing 1346 yards 15 TD's 2 ints 522 yards rushing** we didn't;t have this last year** QB rating is 128 (wow) Defensively 9 ints 12 fumble rec giving up only 9 points a game and less than 125 yards a game. No team has had more than 200 yards total against and 2 were held to neg yards rushing. SA common opponent and Palestine Westwood 3A. SA had 13 yards total and WW had 71 total. District champion Paul Pewitt was held to 104 yards total. Tatum to 126. Now Arp's schedule is the 28th ranked in 2A. Not at the top but no were near even the middle of 2A. Much less as some of you say at the bottom. It for sure isn't as strong of a schedule as Kirbyvilles but Arp dominated it non the less. Garrison and WestRusk I feel will win this weekend and WestRusk could be as good as any 3 round team out there. Garrison I think is way above avg but will face Daingerfield and hands down DF field one of the best 2A teams in Texas.
well here is a stat for you, the only 2A team to score an offensive touchdown on K-ville was #5 Newton...........by the way Cooper isnt even in the same ball park as Ford when it comes to carryeing the rock, another stat for you in one game Ford carries 7 times for i believe 167 and 4 TDs
Kvillecats if that person was actually from Arp they are just crazy for thinking that you guys don't have a Great Looking RB. Hands down among the top in the state. Now on to carrying the rock comparing Ford to Cooper well don't ahead of yourself 7 times for 167 is awesome no matter if it was SA you played. Cooper does have that beat. 5 carries for 202 yards. You do the math.

 10. Good luck to both teams. Really hope the Wildcats pull it out with no pun intended toward CC. CC is going to play hard winning or losing and it will take a big time effort for either team to win. Good luck From Arp. Should be an outstanding 1st round game. Might have to make the trip for this one.
 11.
K-Ville is pretty big and yes they are fast FORD Scores and Scores.
Of corse they are. Never said they weren't. Is your QB a sophmore or jr?
 12.
JJSpeed8, you are really insane in the brain to predict Arp beats Kville 70-7. You guys must be extremly loaded to win by that big of a margin. You Arp has a good team, but Kirbyville have been battled tested. Can you say that about your team??? No, because your schedule is very weak. West Rusk gave you guys all yall can handle, don't think it will get any easier if yall play Kirbyville.
Keep believing WestRusk gave Arp all they could handle. Don't let that score fool you. Remeber it was the game before the playoffs and Arp was already District Champs either way win or lose. Main goal from both sides was staying healthy. WestRusk is however a much better team this year than last year. As far as the 70-7 well chances are it would be a 35-14 win for Arp but 70-7 sounds real good after reading all the mess that has been said about our coaches and players. One thing I can say is Arp's offense is probably the top offense in 2A. The defense is among the top 5 so all together it spells pretty good football to me. I don't doubt for 1 sec that Kirbyville will be loaded and could have the team to beat Arp. You guys did it last year but this is a brand new team your playing this year. Much Bigger and Faster.

Fortunately for Arp, Kirbyville played an extremely sloppy game last year, yet still won.  Kirbyville was easily 3 TD's better than Arp was, but gave Arp every opportunity to stay in the game.  For a team that has played absolutely no one this year, the Arp Tigers sure are confident.  Lets hope hope that the Kirbyville staff don't get their hands on the West Rusk game film.  The Raiders exposed Tiger weaknesses that the Wildcats will exploit bigtime.
So with drives of 97,65 and 71 with penilties going on Arp and not Kirbyville was a 3 td better team. Come on Kirbyville went up 15-0 with less than 2:00 off the clock. If they were so dang good why did Arp take the lead after turning the ball over 2 more times to Kirbyvilles 2 the whole game. That is 4-2 in Kirbyvilles favor. I am sorry but with that kind of an advantage your not 3 td's better if you barely won in the end and yes Kirbyville did win and was a good football team. But not 3 td's better than Arp
The only thing in Kirbyville defense is that the 2 turnovers they had gave Arp a much shorter field.  That's not taking anything away from Arp at all but the stats don't lie...Kirbyville turned the ball over 1 more time than Arp Kirbyville                       Arp Total yards 368             245 First downs 15               16 Rushes/Yds 34/162         31/148 Average rush 4.76          4.77 Comp/Atts 7/13/0          8/20/2 Pass yards 206               97 Comp pct 53.85              40 Punts 2                         2 Punting Yards 102           71 Punting Average 51        35.5 Fumbles/Lost 5/4            1/1 Penalties-yards 9-90       8-61
Now you see that doesn't look like a 3 TD better team to me. Pretty close which was my point. Me personally I thought Kirbyvilles team was one of the best teams I had seen in a long time. Solid all the way around. Both of those teams came into that game with Defense on their minds and to be honest they both played it about as well as anyone could have wished for with that many offensive weopons on both sides of the ball. The real difference maker which I think you will agree was the QB's. Yours played a better game and yall won. This year Arp is much better passing team than last year. Last year Arp wasn't a deep threat unless it was Cooper or Wade running by you. This year we have picked up 4 young WR's that are really good. Now with Wade and Cooper in the backfield you can't stack the box because of the man to man coverage you would have to have against us this year. Now of corse don't get me wrong a team with enough skill players could do it but it's 2A ball and that is what serperates teams like Kville,Arp,Newton, and you get the point from the rest out there. Overall I am an Arp supporter and am glad to see my team doing so well but if we lose it isn't the end for us. We will keep coming out hard every year till that ring is ours. Same as you guys

I don't recall seeing a mile limit to join. Second the last team to call out our coaching staff got 68 ripped on them and yes Kville it could happen to you. Don't know that it will but it sure is a possiblity. 3rd Some of us get out and do a little scouting and watch common or up coming opponents. Kirbyville fans have bashed Arp sinse last year and continue to ride last years win like a broke down horse. Kirbyville fans have started as many as 3 threads a day on smoaky.com trying to get something going for no real reason. You guys have brought a bad storm to you and will cry like no tommarrow when Arp and Daingerfield treat you boys like the cup cake teams you claim you aren't and have claimed Arp and DF to be. Those 2 programs are 2 of the winningest programs in 2A sinse the year 2000. Good people and great schools. I look forward to the pounding Arp will bring to Kirbyville. I now change my prediction if they meet up. Arp 70 Kirbyville 7. I think they will score 7 on the freshman team when they come into the game before halftime.
 16. stil think Newton by 21+ and if Kville makes it to Arp Arp wins by 30+.

Arp need to play caliber teams like this. You gonna be shell shocked if Kirbyville plays Arp again. Yall are playing teams that Kirbyville would murder.
Arp would beat you boys by 30+ and no yall won't beat Newton. Newton rolls over you pcats with ease I say.
