The best team will win. Coach Barbay will still be a great coach, win or lose. WT will still be the best non-DC in the area, JCmeek83 will still know nothing about football, and Kirbyville will never be Newton !

How long has Hatton been coaching ? Newton seems to be out of postion a lot. Maybe they will improve over time, or that Offense will just out score everybody.

What has happened to the Newton Defense ? They have always been the backbone of one of the most successful programs in SE Texas. They have given up way to many points and big plays. To give up 40 to Orangefield is unforgivable. Coach Barbay must be going crazy. Heads will roll. If they are to make a run, They must get a lot better.

Orangefield is a scrappy team, No doubt, But If you give up 62 points to a AA team you are not a playoff team. Newton is explosive, but may be the worst on Defense they have ever been. To give up 40 and 500+ yards is insane.
