Wow I am appalled!  You have no idea how embarrassed I am.  Barbers Hill used to have coaches that were a little more respectful than this.  I know that last week after the HF football game Coach Price spent some time with his players.  And that is why Coach Price is such a great coach.  He is always teaching life lessons like this one.   I really don’t know what to say, I am so frustrated.  I also hear that a lot of the coaches are really buddy buddy with the players.  Oh and cuss them out also!  I never once heard a coach cuss anyone out when I was at The Hill.  What direction is The Hill going now? 2009 SLC Champions take on Lamar University at 6:00 in Nacogdoches AXE EM JACKS

[/quote] I have a lot of recommendations from Barbers Hill.  I don't have to get it from the Superintendent it is not liked he ever talked to me when I was there anyways.  He was to busy talking to his "friends" Why would I want to work at The Hill?  I would have loved to work there before Poole and some of the board members where there.  I have talked to ex teachers and administrators and they have all told me the same thing.  They wish I could have seen The Hill before Poole got there.  I can remember what Barbers Hill was like when Mr. Rotan was there.  I have never seen a superintendent support the staff as much as he did.  And all I have done is spoke the truth.  I have not bashed anybody from the school. [/quote] I have just stated the facts is all.  I do come back to the Hill a lot and everybody knows I support Coach Price.  A lot of people in the community say that what I have posted is right and needs to be said.  It is childish how some of the school board members and the superintendent treated Coach Price just because he did not suck up to them.  Come on now they did not even want him at the sports banquet.  How about the administration show some class and let the man go out with his boots on.

He asked for it when they were discussing bonds.  But that is the first thing that was tossed.  Barbers Hill does not have a run through.  I never saw it when I was there.  And stickers were changed out before playoff games.  Some players like having stickers that were roughed up though.  Do you know how many people it takes to have instant replay?  It takes a whole team.  It is not just two people.  Schools that have instant replay usually have an AV Club to do it.  I guess it is Coach Price's fault for not having an AV Club at Barbers Hill also.  Get your facts straight.

[/quote] Remodeling the stadium was the first thing the board turned down.  It is embarrassing on how BH's football stadium looks.  If they would have remodeled the stadium the school would make a lot of money from play-off games.  Look how many games Galena Park hosts.  But they sure did jump on remodeling the field house.  I think the only play-off games they pick up are little private schools. Goes to show you that ONE of the board members main priority is basketball.  It looks like he does not care about other sports to me.

You know something is not right when The Administration did not want Coach Price at the Sports Banquet this week.  When Coach and Mrs. Price got to the banquet there was not a place for them at the head table.  They set there anyway.  Administrators also told him that he could not say anything about him leaving.  They also told the other coaches and PLAYERS the same thing.  I am proud of Coach Leonard for saying something anyways.  Then I heard he took a good butt chewing from the administrators.  This is not right.  Coach Price is still the AD till the 31st of this month.  I am so ashamed of Barbers Hill.  It used to be a dream of mine to work at the Hill one day.  Not anymore!  I would be scared that the ring leader of the anti price board members would fire me if I forgot to say hi to him.  When I tell people I am from Barbers Hill, the first thing they tell me is that it is not right what the board did to Coach Price.  The Hill is known for having a corrupt school board all through the state. Good Reputation!!! I remember a few years ago one of our board members wanted to get Coach Price out of there and bring Pinee Hall in as the AD.  Do you think that is what he is trying to do again?  I think if that would happen it would be horrible.  People say she is a good coach.  She may of had good talent at BH but she is not a good coach.  Is she still winning state championships?  Again this is just stuff I have heard in the bleachers.

Well it looks like the school board ran another good one off again.  I am not saying that everyone on the school board is a crook.  There are THREE, and they know who they are.  The ring leader of this group has been responsible for running good administrators, teachers, coaches, and now a good AD off.  All this one school board member is worried about is his kids and the sports they are in.  I am also very disappointed with the superintendent.  Why can't Barbers Hill get a superintendent who thinks for himself and not let the board make his decisions for him?  It is no secret on who the one board member wants to bring in.  He has tried to do it before.  All I can say The Hill has got some rough days ahead of it.  Shame on the superintendent and the three on the school board!
