WO-S showed how they are capable of playing tonight which equals very very good! Especially the defense! My hat is off to menard, he ran hard all night long and was taking a lot of shots! Great game both teams!

The more some of ya'll post on here, the dumber ya'll look! Quit talking about WOS defense better play better than they did last week!!! They gave up 160 yards in a complete game! And only given up 10 first downs in 2 games so far in district! Can anyone else say that??? nope! And our offense can bust any game open at any moment! Enough talking on here now...let the boys play it out saturday!

Would ya'll please shut up with the talk of Orangefield being in the game and giving it away!  Yes they score on the opening drive mostly because of a bonehead facemask on 3rd down...and then we threw an interception and they scored again. And it must have made our boys mad because we came out and shoved 20 points down there throats in about 5 minutes! It was NEVER a close game! And they only had 160 total yards! We had almost 400! Was'nt close at all! Sorry not trying to take anything away from the OField boys because they played hard! But just had to clear that up! And BC gives up way too many points to compete with the stangs...and our defense has been very good and getting better! Stangs-35 Cards-14

Im not trying to make it seem like ya'll scheduled easy competition! Ya'll had a good pre district schedule...coldsprings is a good team and they had alot to play for that night, but so did orangefield! And i do believe orangefield has a good shot at making the playoffs! I just know how good our team really is and know the things they are capable of! Im not gonna sit here and tell you were gonna win state but i will tell you that come playoff time its going to take a great team who has their best game to beat the stangs and send them home! They arent worried about about the 2 losses on their record, they are worried about finishing strong and getting to the big game! They are truly playing for a purpose! Best of luck cats!

Hmm...everytime WOS plays Giddings lol always a great battle in the playoffs! And i seen Southlake Carroll against Lufkin when Dez Bryant was a senior! Was a great battle!

Mark roberts just needs to concentrate on the ball in the air instead of the run after the catch, and learn how to time his jumps and he will be an absolute monster! He is a randy moss type reciever that loves the deep ball! (Not really comparing him to moss, just saying that is how he is built!) He is always wide open or is atleast 6 inches taller than the defender!

This is seriously ridiculous for the people that are saying this is going to be close and that WOS should look out! If OField is so great and has so many great players than Why have they been playing close games with 2a school and scoring in the single digits a couple times? I mean this is the same team that got beat by 1,000 against coldsprings right? I mean unless they just got Chris Johnson, Michael Vick, and Adrian Peterson this week stop exagerating! They havent played a great team yet! WE HAVE! And we will be the best we've ever been come friday! All i gotta say for all you orangefield fans doubting the stangs is make sure your boys buckle their chin straps real tight!!!

Well first off, we have way more speed right now than we did last year! And most of it is underclassmen especially on defense. And last year we didnt really use justin thomas on offense. And the big thing was that our rb lindsey was hurt all of last year and he is one of the hardest people to tackle out there! Totally different team right now...they are really starting to click with little jimmy at qb and defense is playing very well. We scored on all 3 fases of the game last friday, and i dont care who the competition is, when you do that you are doing things right! But i expect ofield to fight hard all night. The stangs will just be too much!

haha Please don't compare the silsbee defensive speed to the WOS defensive speed! Thats not even comparable! It will be the blowout im predicting, just wait and see!

Yall are crazy if anyone thinks this will be close! Yes it has been an emotional month for OC but the stangs are back and playing with a purpose! Jimmy salters is a great athlete and getting better and better everyday! Our defense will not give up more than one TD against orangefield. We finally found 2 safeties and completed the defense and they can all cover! Our defense is way too fast for orangefield to run on in my opinion! WO-S was clicking on all cylinders tonight! Young qb salters looked great! And the defense was outstanding...i left after 3 and the horns didn't have any first downs, did they get one? And does anyone have the stats?

Honestly i believe that these two teams are very evenly matched! And the first half showed us that...BUT we  had a very costly turnover to start the second half which turned the game around! No excuses about the QB here, I believe salters is a very good athlete and will take us deep into the playoffs! I just think they should have let him play more of his own game instead of restricting him! In the end kville made the plays they needed to win and we did'nt! Bottom line is that you can't have turnovers in your own redzone in tough games as this one. And you have to make catches when your wide open. That no call on the deep pass was ridiculous but we still had the lead at half so it doesnt matter really! I still believe that our own play calling is our biggest oponent! We run the ball down their throats and then go away from it? i mean wow lol And am i the only one that is wondering why #43 Lindsey is not getting alot more carries? The guy is a beast, got a first down everytime he touched the ball just about! But I still think we have a very good defense and our offense will get better every week with salters working his way into the offense! I still expect big things from this team. Just gotta make the necesary plays and limit the turnovers! Both teams should have good playoff runs...hope to see yall in december! Good luck the rest of the way kats!

This is the game everyone wanted to see when the schedules came out...and this is the game all the kids want to win! It will be a great game! But this will definately be the best defense that kirbyville has faced this year! We have a very fast defense and Ford won't be able to get to the edge... they will have to put together long drives and i just dont see them as that kind of team! And if BC can run the ball on them, we wont have any problems. And does anyone remember the type of offense we had in 06 with beasley at QB? Well thats what lil jimmy salter brings to the table. GREAT thread! I just passed by the stadium and there were about 100 people out there paying their respect's to Reggie! Just so sad!

Just seems like it was in a movie script...i mean he threw a td pass came to the sideline and celebrated with his team mates during a made extra point. Then colllapsed! Just truly tragic! My prayers are with his family, friends, team mates, and the rest of the mustang fans out there!

They will easily take back the district title this year with the hardest fought game probably come from BC, not Silsbee! As far as i see it the only real battle is for second place! Were too explosive on offense and we have a corner back who will lock down ya'lls talented reciever when were on defense! Face it without JJ ya'll don't have a chance!

And I for sure know that the two best running back's in SETX will square off in a couple of week's when Kirbyville comes to WO-S! Britton Lindsey is definately the real deal! But i don't need to talk for him, he will show ya'll himself lol By the way the BC Vs. Kville game is gonna tell us exactly how good both teams are! Looking forward to this one!

We all know that no matter what the problems are in jasper they always play WO-S tough! But the stangs have way too much fire power this year! I expect a good first have then the stangs to run away with it.

I just dont see how your team played terrible just because they were sacked five times and intercepted twice?!? The interceptions were due to our good coverage in the secondary and the sacks were due to our outside linebackers being much quicker than your offensive tackles! Coach thompson is a genius when it comes to game planning and knowing exactly how to beat an aposing team! Both teams had mistakes and both teams made big plays! It was one for the ages! FW will be absolutely fine. And all i gotta say about WOS is look out 3A
