Great game from both teams! Only one turnover all night long! Bridge city played great and are really good and should make a solid run in the playoffs! Wos does it with defense and special teams again! But aree getting better and better on offense! And I'm telling y'all now if wos gets healthy they will be very hard to beat in the playoffs!

I cannot wait unti friday night finally gets here! Shoud be a great ball game with great weather! I really cant wait to see what bc plans to do to sow lindsey down, he will have the ball in his hands on about 80 percent of WOS offensive plays! Were gonna pound the ball with lindsey and keep the turnovers down and let the defense win the game!

Hopefully the mustangs get everyone healthy this week! I see lindsey getting around 30 carries this week and having a good game! And sorry cards but yall basically have the same exact team as last year and WOS stuffed menard all night long! I see WOS winning 10-0!

The wos pass defense is still GREAT!! haha The only reason HF scored on a deep pass play is because our corner went for the pick instead of knocking the pass down. But if he would have made the pick then everyone would praise him so im not going to hate on him for trying to make a play!

Look for all you people that are upset that were not scoring 1,000 points a game!!!! Who gives a crap??? All that flashy stuff did was get us through district blowing people out and then we get in the playoffs and turn the ball over 10 times and lose!!! Believe it or not this is the best type of game plan to make deeper playoff runs! It might not be as exciting but it is a better game plan!! Just have to have the right people healthy and the right calls at the right time!!! And as a true mustang i will be the first to say i do not care if we win every game in district by 1 point!!! Wins are still wins to me baby!!!!

To me when you play for a team with as much tradition as wos and a team with the highest of expectations. I dont see the need to praise kids for making a wide open catch or making a tackle. These things are simple, now if you stuff somebody on 4th and goal from the 1, yes! But not for making ordinary plays! That is not something to get praised for at wos!!! Im telling you though this team is still figuring out this new offense and dealing with alot of key injuries! When they are healthy and get the offense down, they are going to be very hard to beat against anyone!!!!

Look people the horns came to play last night and played hard and well, but im telling you it was a case of over looking your opponent last night! The stangs OC came out throwng the ball and trying to work on things on the first drive!!! I will bet anyone any amount of money that lindsey will touch the ball every play until the bobcats prove they can stop him! And as long as our middle linebacker lynch is okay and not injured badly the defense will be better than ever! The stangs still have a speed advantage everywhere in this game! I look for the special teams from WOS to keep providing us with points and great field position. Stangs win 24-7

The longhorns played a good game tonight and i give them credit! But tonight was a simple case of over looking and opponent! We came out looking to work on things on the first drive, like points were going to be handed to us! If salter could throw the ball to wide open people it would have been 50 to 12 haha but ii still like this wos team and still believe they will be a contender in the play offs. Were not a super flashy team like usual but will get the job done!

after the terrible red zone offense and execution last week, look for wos to not pull any starters and work on things in the 4th if we have a big lead! Does anyone know the status of britton lindsey? if he is okay and playing i look for him to have a better night than he did against jasper. Need to work on limiting the fumbles inside the red zone. The mustangs will definitely be fired up after everyone is going around talking about what coach t said. WOS 50 K-VILLE 0

Ya'll need to calm down about wos being in trouble and going no where! Yes we lost the game and yes we are weirdly 1-3! But we were definitely the better team tonight and dominated from start to finish!!! The one thing that lost this game was redzone offense! Your not gonna lose many games that you double your oponents stats in every category!!! The oc needs to stay up all night tonight and figure his stuff out for the red zone! Your not always gonna score from 50 yards out! I am highly upset with our record and us losing period, but im not hitting the panic button and im not saying these mustangs arent going anywhere. Because with a defense like this you will always have a chance to win. You don't have to be undefeated to make a long run in the playoffs!!!!

The mustangs cannot keep punting and kicking field goals on 4th and short! Have to have a bit of confidence in the offense to get a first down. I cant think of one time this year that we have went for it on 4th down this year!

Wow!!! The mustangs finally played to their potention at poin ts in this game haha well the defense was terrific all night, only gave up 2 field goals! The offense came alive in the 2nd half, lindsey was simply a beast tonight and the offensive line was very good! If we can cut down on the penalties we will be a force to be reckon with late in the playoffs! The pistol is working really well, just need to work on getting the plays in faster! Jasper fought hard!!! The back #5 runs like a truck! lol Good luck bulldogs and ill see you mustangs in huntsville saturday!!!!

Haha you people amaze me sometimes! WOS loses 2 games that they very easily could have and probably should have won against good very large 4A teams, and now yall think the district is a toss up? WOS will be undefeated from here to the playoffs unless key injuries accure! The last 0-2 WOS team went to state haha just saying! But great teams must taste defeat before they get the hunger to WIN!!!

This will be the 1st team for WOS to even line up against this year that is a 3A school! Two scrimmages against 4A teams and two games against 4A teams! The stangs are hungry for some wins and Wont be at a disadvantage in size! If wos stops the key turnovers they will take this one with a cushion. Stangs win 35-14!!

Wildest, craziest game ive seen in a looong time! Great game friendswood! Wos made too many mistakes early on in this one! Way to battle back in the 4th quarter though, never gave up! Salters needs to work on a few things. Defense was very good again besides a few plays here and there, not to mention the freak play on the last touchdown for FW! But it was a great 4th quarter and overtimes. Wos running back lindsey is a beast, week in and week out he performs great! I don't think any 3A team around here would come close to beating friendswood so im not too upset with this defeat. We cannot turn the ball over on the 1 inch line when were punching it in, key turnovers like this always come back and bite you in the butt. But were 0-2 by a combined 2 points to playoff teams in 4-a, and we could very easily be 2-0. The WOS mustangs will definitely be ready for all the 3a challengers this year! Look everyone we (WOS) lost a game, a great game at that! Yes it had bogus plays and calls but we LOST! It is over now...nederland WON the game no matter what we say or complain about it! So now its time to move on...One game isnt going to make or break a season in the first week haha We showed signs of greatness and signs of weakness so all we have to do is get back to work tomorrow and fix the kinks! I promise you WOS and CORNEL THOMPSON will be fine! And as for BC Ya'll have the same exact team ya'll had last year and believe it or not our defense is better than last! Nobody is impressed that yall blew out a below average opponent friday night haha thats why we play bigger better teams in preseason so when we play teams like yall it will be in our advantage!

The stangs secondary will never get picked apart haha we gave up like 3 good completions to nederland! And Coach T and coach pierce will not let that happen again. Our offense will get better each week and lindsey will just keep pounding the ball each week! Friendswood gave up over 3oo yards on the ground last night, so i look for lindsey to have a big game next week! Stangs by 2 touchdowns.

For fred davis or whatever your name is, please slap yourself! You have no idea what its like to play for a man like coach T! He is a remarkable coach and a remarkable man! Im sorry if it sounded like i was puting the bulldogs down, that is NOT the case! Just a lil frustrated with the refs and the few brain farts the stangs had. lol The bulldogs did their part and they are not refs so therefore you cant take anything away from them! But we cannot fumble in our own territory and give a good team a short field and you cant have blown coverages against a kid with a good arm! Britton lindsey is an absolute beast and our defense is its usual self! We will be fine! Good game and good luck bulldogs...

I could tell you 100 reasons why nederland won that game and none of them have to do with the players haha. But no way that game should have been that close, wos dominated the whole game. But thats what happens when you leave a team in the game and dont put them away! Some of the wildest officiating calls ive ever seen lol. Never seen a kickoff return blown dead for no reason. And ive never seen a guy catch a pass and land a yard out of bounds and call him in. And ive never seen a highschool player catch a pass and fall then roll into the endzone hahaha but owell its over and on to the next! Good game bulldogs for sticking around. And as for us stangs lets get after it cause if we dont Show up and play 4 solid quarters next week we will be 0-2! Lets not let that happen! haha

hahaha this is a lil crazy how WOS is getting no respect! Ya'll are either crazy or just really hate the mustangs! All we have done the past 5 years is kick the crap out of the bulldogs and now we don't have a chance? haha ok people...Yes vidor did score 2 good touchdown runs, but both of them were scored on the side of the defense with the back up corner was playing. If justin thomas was in the game he would have had a good gain on those runs at best. JT is hands down one of the fastest kids in the state! And when WOS switched to the pistol against vidor it went our favor 20-0! Yeah we work on the I and all but at the end of the day we are going to use the ofense that produces points and wins games! Coach thompson is a smart coach and knows how to win ball games! We will be missing 2 players this week, both on defense but guys will step up and make plays. Stangs by 14 in this one! 21-7.

The mustangs will be fine! Just need to get everyone healthy! Still played without half of our secondary tonight and another member of the secondary went down tonight. Vidor's offense is a tricky one and took a while for the guys to start hitting the right person haha. But the defense settled down and the offense picked up. And from what i seen both teams played the starters throughout, except for the kids who were banged up. I expect vidor to have a good season this year and battle for a playoff spot in 4a. As for the stangs we will be fine and improve every week.

wos won the game half they played 6-0. Our defense played well in the game situation picking off 2 passes. Our offense was ok for who we had. We didnt play our started running back lindsey at all tonight nor did justin thomas play at all. LCM showed a nice passing game at times and had a nice run by cezar early on in the practice form. Both teams looked pretty good for the first scrimmage. The mustang offense is working on alot of new things with the new offense. But will get better every week and be totally different with lindsey in the backfield.
