I'll broaden it out a little....I'll give you my Top 5 Over-rated 3A teams statewide so far this season....(in my opinion)... 1. Bellville - Lotta hype, I'm not convinced...tonight's game should be very telling against Navasota. 2. Brownwood - Have been the red-headed step child in their district since moving down to 3A. 3. Celina - A shell of their former selves. 4. Sinton - Other than Ingleside, they've always have a weak schedule, and weak playoff road up until at least the 3rd round. 5. China Spring - Also a shell of their former selves.

IRAQ??? JaysFan, are you serving our country? Well, I'm a government contractor, my active duty days are long gone, LOL. I'm attached to the Marine Corps' 2nd MEF in Iraq and pulled a little time under 2nd MEB in Afghanistan just a month or two ago. My contract is all wrapped up so I am headed home to Texas. I was active duty Army from 95-00 and active reserve 00-03...from there I started contracting.

Katy HS is the only one that has been a beast in the playoffs, Cinco Ranch has done decent, but the other four high schools are just average. Dallas and deep east Texas IMO are the two most consistant contenders. Agreed. Each region has their "studs", i.e. Abilene Wylie, Cuero, Giddings, etc......but East/North East TX seems to be where it's at the last few years.

MAN, this is looking to be a good one. I really can't say either way that one team is a clear favorite over the other. I may tune into this one and give a listen for a few mins.

Roger that fellas. Since my team doesn't have a webcast, I pick and choose from whatever I figure is going to be the best game of the week, and usually that's what I'll listen to. I'll probably listen to Navasota -vs- Bellville this week if the webfeed is good.....if not, I'll find something else to listen to. Cuero/Bay City should be good.....WOS/Jasper has the makings of a good one as well!! LOTS of good games this week!!

If anyone is looking for a commuter...... I've got a 1994 BMW 318iS that needs to go. It was my commuter car before I bought my wife a new car. It needs the A/C compressor and belt replaced. I have the compressor, just have not put it on, as I've been overseas and not able to do so. 2000.00 OBO

I bought a new Kahr/AO M1 Carbine JUST FOR traipsing through the brush after hogs with. Also have never killed anything w/ my bow I got for Christmas last year. I'm also w/ the guy above who mentioned having a sidearm on his hip......got a new one of those too to try out!! Like I say...name the time and place!!

I wouldn't doubt it. I've seen umpteen bobcats over the years, and I've even seen a cougar or two. The only black panther I've ever seen though was YEARS ago up near Santa Ana, Coleman, etc. Was sitting in the deer blind later afternoon, early evening and it stepped out into the sandero about 120yds up from me.
