I may be eating crow Friday night, but i still believe this will be a closer game than everyone else thinks. I know if the Indians are ever gonna put up 4 big quarters, it will be this Friday. if I'm wrong, hey that's the way it goes. But I believe in our boys. Good Luck Indians!!!
There's nothing wrong with supporting your team, this is Coldsprings not Huffman, they won't come on here and bash you for losing to them. Cleveland is better than last year but you can't say they are rising because compared to the previous years they are still declining. I watched the Cleveland vs Splendora game and the Cleveland vs Shepherd game, from a Liberty fans standpoint I'm not overlooking them because the fact that I went to see these to games says that I'm interested in what Cleveland can do. At this point I think they are too sloppy, they can't throw very well at all, their defense is too young to win the game for them and Franks and #12 seem to be the only offensive weapons for the Indians. Coldsprings offense is very well executed, they don't make many mistakes and they do have a defense that can win the game for them if something were to happen offensively (that is against Cleveland  maybe not Huffman and Liberty, but we know CS offense won't be stopped completely against both of those teams). Coldsprings should beat Cleveland just about as bad as they beat Shepherd, but good luck to both teams.
Bahaha, you better watch some more films Brotha, Cleveland is much better this year, young or not, doesnt the 5-1 tell you that, for the first time in years these boys are playing AS A TEAM, makes a big difference! And only having Franks and Taylor you say, I'm still ROTFL......... Good luck to both teams Friday night.
 2.
Cleveland has always been thuggish! They rather fight than play ball! Bad attitudes from fans, players, and parents run that community. It's been that way for the past 20 years. If you beat them, you better run for the hills because they will be ready for a fight. A bunch of sorry sore losers. I blame the parents and coaches for letting these kind of poor character kids on the field. Is this all the community has to offer. Surely not! if you look for sportsmanship, Silsbee's not perfect but a better model than Cleveland!
It takes a big man to sit behind a computer screen and talk about kids like this...  Now this post really shows how classy Silsbee is, as far as being a role model, you sir, ARE NOT ONE APPARENTLY.
 3.
SILSBEE'S D WILL STRAIGHT UP EAT YOUR LUNCH!!! The Linebackers are BEASTS!!
Bull Corn Bubba!  ;D  ;)

Promise a battle will take place Friday night. May the best team win.
Oh we will.
Boy, it just might be a long ride home for some of these Silsbee folks!  ;D ;D ;D
Young O-line?? Where did you get that info from? Silsbee's offensive line is as seasoned as they get. They have four seniors on the line, with 3 of them 3 year starters. They are considered one of the best lines Silsbee has had in quite some time. They are the strength of this offense this year.
I guess we will see come Friday..  ;)
Well, obviously you have no clue (commenting on the "young O-line of Silsbee) ::), therefore your comments have no credibility. The most accurate statement you have made was the "I guess" comment. ;)
I could care less what you think  ;)  I only care about what happens Friday night...

 9. Well then its def time to change those stats!!! Silsbee will no longer be owning Cleveland, I know we had a bad season last year but what was our record prior to that?
 10.
Maple inherited a bad situation last year coming in at the end of June after the sudden un-wanted departure of the then Head Coach Ricky Tullos and his staff. You can’t judge a program on one year of hardships. After struggling last year I look for Cleveland to rise back up and be a very competitive football team, they are young but very talented. Cleveland has good kids and a good coaching staff. Look for them to get back into the playoffs. 2007 4-7 (4-1) 2008 10-1 (5-0) 2009 10-2 (5-0) 2010 2-8 (2-4) 2011 ??? Good Luck Clayton
Maples has turned this team around this year, this is not the same team as last year, I guarantee no one team including Coldsprings will run threw Cleveland like everyone is thinking, not only does this team have big talent this year you also have a group of kids whom has grown up together and can read what the other one is thinking, they arent playing as individuals anymore there playing as a team finally, that is something we lacked in the last 2 years, and I promise it makes a HUGE difference come game time. Coldsprings probably will take first but I promise Cleveland will be right behind them.... Good luck to all of our teams in district play..
 11. Indian Fan, don't waste your time on this fool, we will let this him eat a little crow Friday night when there isnt any blow out!!!!! These boys will put them back in there place come Friday night..  ;)
 12. No, but them hanging with Kingwood Park does!!!!! All I'm saying is, I think Cleveland will suprise alot of people this year...
 13.

Yes Cleveland lost a few players, HOWEVER, Cleveland has a better squad this year then they have had in years, Cleveland has had to over come quite a few problems over the last few years but let me tell you, this group of boys are young and ready to play some hard core football, Friday nights game was surprising to alot of people, these boys walked all over Caney Creek like they were a 2a school, so dont count Cleveland out just because of our record last year.......  GO INDIANS GO
caney creek was 5-5 last year with a qb that completed less than 50% of his passes and their best player, sykes (1200 yds rushing last year) graduated.. so i don't think that win says much.. imo
14. Don't count Cleveland out just yet, this team that you all seems to think sucks, hung pretty good with Kingwood Park a couple weeks ago, I think this team is gonna suprise alot of people.....

 16.
OK C-Town.  I am just going to tell you this.  I happen to be very good friends with Cleveland's former coach and very good friends with Cleveland's new coach and I happen to be very close to a school board member as well.  I am probably the only guy on this site that can say I have been friends with all three for over 10 years.  So I am going to tell you one more time your statement is false.  Sup is from Cleveland and Maple is not and they were not in college together. I cannot testify to what he said but I can tell you Maple had never met the guy before his interview.  I am done with this - your statement is false.
Now, let me tell you one thing Ringo, I live in Cleveland next door to a school board member, graduated from here 10 years ago, Was and always will be good friends with Ricky Tullos and the rest of the Cleveland Coaches, I never said one thing about going to college together, however they did attend the same high school, check those facts!!!!  Kerry Cowart wasnt always from Cleveland, he and Maples DID go to the same high school together!!!! So before you start calling someone facts false, MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT!!!!!  The good folks of Cleveland have went as far as to find the year book with BOTH of them in it!!!!  What next, let me guess, oh what school and year was it, RIGHT????  Bottom line, Maples is proving that he CANNOT handle being a AD, and AD doesnt call kids out in front of there team mates and say YOU cost us the game, YOU WIN AS A TEAM AND YOU LOOSE AS A TEAM!!!! Maybe he should go back to school and learn what those 4 letters stand for...
 17. Who said I have issue's with our super.? I simply answered your qustion and yes sir one of Bar-bay 's son's DID apply!!!!  As far as supporting the school, dude, I have a nephew out there and I support them weekly, rather at home or on the road, now when it come's to play calling, well, I guess you just can't fix STUPID!!!!!    ;D
Fact is, when the super was pleading his case in the school board meeting, he personally said he new Maples and had went to school with him, how else do you think Maples got a job over Bar-bay, come on Ringo, not sure where you are from but Kerry Cowart has told everyone that he and Maples went to school together............
And if you would like to check THOSE FACTS, looks up a few of our school board members!!!!

 20.
Hmm two or three coaches were reassgined last year? Head Coach is run off and this is not a valid statement? To come on a forum and rake on the current coaching staff at Cleveland is heavy handed. Dont discuss what the coaches did last year but lets throw the current staff under the bus. Really? Its about the kids not the former Coaches. Really? Good luck to the kids and Coaches at Cleveland this year.
Do tell us o great one what our former coaches did?????  I can tell you exactly what they did, HAVE RESPECT FROM THERE STUDENTS , PARENTS AND COMMUNITY!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND WON BALL GAMES!!!!!!!! MAPLES HAS TO GIVE RESPECT IN ORDER TO GET IT, HE HAS A 9TH GRADE TEAM THAT HAS NOT LOST A GAME SINCE THEY STARTED SCHOOL BALL UNTIL NOW!!!! Maples got this job over another coach simply because he went to school with Kerry Cowart and they were friends, He has talented kids standing on the sideline that he NEVER puts in, He has Cedric Reed whom plays very little offense, he only wants him for defense, doesn't make since to anyone!!!! He has speed and size on Varsity, he just isn't playing them!  Good luck to all our kids in Cleveland!!!!
 21. Everyone in our community said the same thing, our Super. finds football to really be a waste of time, what do you expect from someone who has no atheletic ability. Half of our squads are wanting to go play football elsewhere, we have a 9th grade squad coming up that has been undefeated for the past 2 years that has looked forward to going to high school to be able to play for Ricky, its a great disappointment for all these kids, I dont think Kerry Cowart considered these kids one bit, he was looking for a power trip and Ricky just so happened to be the one whom he went after.  We wish Ricky and his family the best of luck. He will be truely missed!
 22. Ricky Tullos will be greatly missed in our town, our superintendent is corrupt, we will never have a better A.D. than what Ricky was, this man cared about his kids and went great lengths to help any student that he could......  Our superintendent had a personal agenda on sending Ricky down the road, he did this on his own without a school board vote, I only hope that we as a community can come together and send Kerry Cowart down the road.  Ricky we wish you the best of luck where ever you go, and remember, Cleveland Indians will never be the same without you guys.
