Panther Grad....... A passing game Coordinator is a glorified title. The offensive coordinator is the OC. When did you play for the Panthers? I bet if you played for Stewart you wouldn't say he was a bad football coach. Or do you say this because you couldn't make it through one of his practices???

That's just the way Liberty and Dayton are. When Dayton wasn't very good in sports, Liberty would take every stab they could at them. Now that Dayton is seeing success and Liberty isn't having as much, Dayton is letting them have it. No love lost there!

It just so happens that Liberty had a string of 11 years broke in 2005. That year they were tied for 2nd but sat at home because of points. 2006 they were back in and this year were cut short in the last seconds of 3 ballgames. Dayton has a fine program, no doubt. but don't go knocking your neighbor to the east. Their football program has been just as successful!!

Sadler has been around nearly 10 years and has been the OC for 4 and HD baseball for at least 6.........Just thought you should know. I am a Liberty fan and this is just rediculous! Hey do you have something against Sadler?

Something's fishy!! They have known about this change for over a year now and it is taking them this long! If they wait much longer they'll be into spring football and offseason will be lost. I hope the current staff is taking care of offseason and making sure things are in good order.

Was Douglas the OC at Westbrook?

To get to Carthage's HS field take 259 N out of Nacogdoches to Mount Enterprise. Go through their one red light, about a mile or so, and take a right on FM 315. This will take you to Carthage. Once in Carthage, take a right on the loop (not sure of the number). Go about 2 miles (through one red light) and the park will be on your right. If you go 59 out of Nac, take a left on the loop in Carthage and the park will be on your left.

JEFF Stewart is still the coach and what is your problem with Liberty? ???

No, Carthage HS plays at their city park and Panola has their own field on campus.

First of all = Congrats to the Panthers on a fine season. No one expected you to get this far except that FAMILY you are a part of. Secondly - Congrats to the Hawks and Coach Kirkland. You guys played better over the two games and deserved to win. I was tremendously impressed with your class and style of play. Last - To those "Hawk Hecklers": Be careful how you post because all you do is give opposing teams bullitin board material. Lord knows you gave the Panthers plenty. This hurts your team. And to those of you who like to sit over on the sidelines and be comedians: Your lines are old and weak. You should go to a couple of college games and "freshen" up before the next series. Also, think about this; YOU are putting a big fat black eye on the baseball program that YOU aren't even good enough to play for! Again, congrats to the Hawks and Good Luck in the next round!

The Barrera kid really is a class act, and not to mention a pretty good ball player. I really hate to hear this for this young man and the BH team. Here's to a speedy recovery!! Good Luck!

Both Beaty and Edwards of Liberty went over the 1000 yard mark Friday night.

Sean Edwards of Liberty had 357 yards on 19 carries with three TD's. Also, Trevan Beaty had 232 yards on 22 carries with three TD's. The two accounted for 589 of the Panther's 661 yards of total offense in a 52-12 win.

Congrats to all. Especially Beaty of Liberty. Great Job men!

No doubt Shane was a good QB, but Liberty was without Shane for 8 of those eleven consecutive years they were in the playoffs. And last year's playoff miss came at the hands of a tie breaker. Coach Stewart does a good job of preparing his kids and he'll have them ready to make another push for the playoffs

demup....Have you ever played football? For you to start a thread and blast kids for being in a "weak" district is absurd. Find another hobby pal! The kids in 22-3A work just as hard as any other and deserve credit. Their teams might not have the best records, but what happened in the preseason has NO affect on the playoffs. As for the district, their are many players that have put up great numbers against good teams in 21-3A.

I'm real glad you people keep doubting those panthers!!! They always show up and they always play people tough. BH fans, you must have forgotten quickly the wars that were fought between you guys and Liberty. How Liberty's 2-5 or 0-5 record never mattered a bit. Again, I'm glad everone is a doubter......That will make it much nicer in the end! GO PANTHERS!!!

1 WOS - too tough! 2 and 3 are going to be determined late in the season. At this point in time, no one is the clear favorite. BC has a good team and are very disciplined. OF and HF are both good enough to beat anyone on any given night. HJ, I haven't seen, but they have put up some good numbers. Jasper is Jasper, I don't care about 0-3. K'ville is very athletic and will beat alot of teams. And Silsbee, tons of talent, will it show up every Friday night? 2. Silsbee 3. Jasper

Everyone always has a new kid that outruns everyone else. Nice try, Lucky! K'ville has a good team. They are sound on both sides of the ball. Liberty, too, will be ready to play. Stewart always has his bunch prepared. Should be a great game. I'm going against the rest. Liberty by 3!
