1. Go Beaumont BULLS!!
 2. The hardest thing to do for a parent is let your kids go and play a varsity football game, especially a QB, especially a big game...unfortunately, he's the target everyone wants to hit...any chance an opposing team gets....after all the years in the game, as a player and a coach, saying goodbye to my son the morning of a game as the parent, eats me up inside..........but he's fun to watch...lol!
 3. Can't wait to see the young man...
 4. OUR BEAUMONT BULLS WILL BE WEARING THE #12 AS WE TRAVEL TO ALVIN THIS WEEKEND. I WILL ALSO BE DISTRIBUTING TO THE BEAUMONT HIGH SCHOOLS THEIR  STICKERS THIS AFTERNOON ALL BUT LEGACY...NOT SURE IF THEY SUBMITTED NUMBERS, BUT I WAS TOLD NO ONE EVER HEARD FROM THEM.
 5.

Hey, what happened, why all the rule changes? We use to practice when your team showed up(and it was up to the head coach to follow the rules)...and your team was...YOUR TEAM.  It seems like this league went to some serious micro managing?  When did this happen? and Why? It just seems so different...IDK...guess it works... I remember when we wouldn't get participation from the parents(conscessions, play monitors, etc..Jay wouldn't allow the games to start...lol!  somebody always came down..
Hopefully I can answer some of your questions. TIFI states the time limit in which teams can practice and considers all four levels as one team. so when practice starts at the predisegnated time all four levels should start at that time and finish at the predesignated time. We dont want to give TIFI any reason to remove us from the league. Starting and finishing practices "whenever we feel like it" gives them the excuse they need to say we are extending practices. Trivial as this may seem to some it is very serious to them. You've been in this game a long time Sarge and you seen what its like to have a club thats not organized. As far as Coaches being held accountable I think you know that answer already  ;).  The staff give the coaches alot of leeway but if he starts messing up The staff or a parent will talk to him.  ;D  Mary is correct in the TIFI crackdown coming from a very small amount of coaches skirting the rules for an advantage. We dont make the rules but have to abide by them. Why chance it when there are three teams on their way to an undefeated season and the potentential threat to have four teams (Yes you guys still have a chance at a superbowl run) bringing the championships back to Beaumont for only the second time in Bulls history. When is the last time you heard "Powerhouse" and Bulls in the same sentence? They are refering to us as just that. They know we are coming and are bringing the game to them.  Believe me when I tell you this, the Houston clubs are on point and watching us this year. For instance were you aware that we had a coach from another team challange the Bulls and a potential forfeit due to some players wearing shields on their helmets. Luckily the Bulls staff had done their homework and followed the rules and had all the players in question turn in release forms for the shields before the season started. Hows that for rules and "Micro Managing". Like I said, They are watching us this year... As far as parents not participating. Well they cant all be like you and me Right Sarge  ;) . Seriously we have a great bunch of parents this year and most are willing to help. I think most of the parents are on board and are stepping up now that they realise that without concession or Monitors that we can not field a team or host games. The club only has 15 min to field a team which includes Monitors, chains, players, coaches etc and we get ALOT of leeway from Bob but Trust me when I say this. He will pull the plug and call a game if we cant get this accomplished. All the parents know this now and hopefully understand how important it is to have all these key folks in place now. I hope this helps you out.. But you have any more issues please feel free to contact one of the board and discuss this with them. See you in Alvin...
Like you stated, I'm sure there's an "X" on the organization especially with three of the four teams being undefeated.  How long will we wait till we move the practice time to 5:30?

 13.
It is micro managing.  Never know if someone is watching the time you start practice, or who would tell someone.  A couple years ago, someone actually got in trouble from another team for starting too soon.   Another team, 2 yrs ago, in summer before season, would take players he knew would play for him 2 at a time, and do QB/center exchange, and pass routes,  hand offs,   2 kids at each corner of field,  because rule said a coach and 3 players was a practice,  they had to put a stop to that.   We started getting more participation about 2 years ago , every now and then we would have to not start a game on time too.  but I think most of those parents moved on the high school by now.   good luck this weekend.
. Oh...I C...you would think that the coaches selected would be a little more responsible...I remember we were told how many hours we had per week...and it was up to the coach to make sure nothing happened...the coaches were held responsible for their actions... Well, I guess were going to try and take it to Alvin....thanx for the luck. ;)
 14. We have practice today...I hope it's the last Wed practice, I enjoyed being there...plus the BURGERS!! We'll see you guys next week! Please RECOGNIZE the community's involvement and properly address Mr Garrett's Tragedy...prayers and condolences! Last Weeks game: WE WILL NEVER KNOW WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED WITH THE KATY GAME!  BUT HOPEFULLY WE WILL FIND OUT IN THE PLAYOFFS! As for the games this week: OZEN in a close one.... WB in a close one.... Titans 5-0...but who wouldn't be with that schedule? :o...lol, jk scooter, goat and the rest of the TITANIC...lol!   Vidor looses because of Joey ( ???), they got to blame somebody... ;D Silsbee wins...because 'that's how they roll...' Lumberton kills the LCM hype! :o, not really, but Lumberton is too hot on both sides of the ball! Livingston quietly go to 4-0! Kelly quietly go to 4-1..... AND of course the Beaumont Bulls win in Alvin Sat !! Slap Soulja for me ( you didn't wear your blue shirt at the blue out)! Peace be to my brothers!
 15.
i see everyone won against LaMarque, Great job!  They are normally a power house at every level.  Good luck at Alvin,I see they are undefeated at every level. Long drive out there.   How's Lil Bruce,  i hope getting better.
Jr is fine....Powers must have shifted since we were here with Jr...We NEVER lost to Alvin...but you say they are all undefeated....wow... 16. Ozen by less than 7....the 4th qtr is the difference in this one, Ozen pulls away with a last minute TD winning drive by Green....

Thats the most points given up by them this season. I agree that WB could play with Katy. I'm just disappointed in the amount of TO's that we gave them. They scored 35 points off of TO's......take that away and the score is much closer. THrow in the fact that Reyes was out for 2/3's of the game, and the outcome might have been different. We were moving the ball well against their defense, and our defense stopped their running game fairly well, too. After I've had some time to think about the game a little, given all the circumstances that happened throughout the game, WB didn't do so bad. The mistakes just killed us. We will be fine, IMO.
No...he'll be on the field playing Saturday...thanx for asking...had we been able to hold it together the rest of the first half he would have gone in....he's just "That kid"... Last two scores were 1's vs 3's.....I have a feeling Katy would have made adjustments. Alief Taylor has a 3 year letterman stud QB also. He was 7-12 for 71 yards passing and 2TDs in the first half, also ran for a TD to put Taylor up 20-7. They converted 8 of 9 third downs. In the second half he completed only 1 pass and Taylor had 21 net yards. You need balance to beat Katy. Coach Joseph is a Defensive  guru
Hopefully we'll see each other later....and we'll see if we did not learn or lesson....or maybe we'll be the one's teaching the lesson...til then good luck and stay healthy.
The injury isnt serious is it?
I've seen several posts on here about one player and blah-blah blah and Reyes is all ya'll have......I can say this...what were the Chicago Bulls when Jordan left? What can Jordan do by himself against the Pistons back then? a bunch of Bull...They started winning when the ball got thrown around, then he just made everyone around play better...he can't do it by himself, he doesn't do it by himself, he won't do it by himself...Maybe we didn't reach that part of our game plan?...we'll never know....THIS IS A TEAM, IT WAS A TEAM WHEN STUMP WAS IN(he's a better player today)...WE TOOK OUR LOSS AS A TEAM...SO PLEASE, DON'T MISUNDERSTAND....MISINTERPRET ANY ACTIONS THAT MAY HAVE BEEN VIEWED FROM THE STANDS THAT EVENING...THIS IS A TEAM, WE HAVE THE COMMUNITY, THE SUPPORT AND THE DRIVE TO EXCEL...I HOPE WE SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN...GOOD LUCK AND STAY HEALTHY.... 8)
