If he was enrolled last school year, one would think he would be eligible to play this school year. Does anybody know if he played in the game against Ozen?
No, he did not. I do not understand why he is not eligible. I would have thought when he enrolled in the spring, his eligibility would have been discussed then not at the beginning of this school year.
It's a technicality...WOS head coach did not release him...when the Kelly Rb transferred(from WB last year) I remember the WB staff commenting on that...if they(W.O in this case) do not release him and acknowledge the transfer was NOT for athletic purposes...he WOULD  be eligible......because he was not signed off on...UIL considers him ineligible...

 8.
Their starting qb last week was from a 2a school.  This is good competition for a start up program.
I believe colt mccoy was from 2a too... ;)
 9. congrats to both young men.....I'm sure they will be on here all season....but the week they play WB... ;D
 10. I believe the topic was about getting a second chance....what country are we in?....we have built this country this way....what other country in the world gives a 10th place ribbon....a participation award....Most Valuable water boy...etc...it will take a hard ass to get back in office to unscrew this country and take it back.... I know AAW has a few of those 10th and 12th place ribbons... ;D
Funny u say that...Lamar, if im not mistaken, doesn't have any qb's that played against 5a schools...
Good point.
not saying they will struggle, just wanted to highlight how silly the statement on comparing NAIA to 5A is.... when u play a team like NS/FB Hightower and they have 5-6 player go to a big D1 school, which is mainly composed of 5a (or equivalent... i know Florida has like 8a) players....guess what?...nothing changes in College ball as a freshman...you've seen 5a football an upper echelon 5a competition...then the adjustment to the game is minimal.. I've seen both first hand Lamar and NAIA...it's like 4a and 5a...very little separate the two..but again...the speed of the game changes from 3a to 5a...IMO..college ball is college ball....a combination of all classifications, yes the upper tier are in D1(most anyway), etc...., doesn't mean that there isn't some guy at Mary Hardin Baylor that can come in to Lamar and take a starting spot(an example of course)...like a kid playing in Sabine Pass, that could push for a starting job at WB... ;)

First things first, work on the shotgun snap. ;)
I was thinking the same thing; I hope Green can get back to 100% soon.
I agree... ;)

 15. I'll have to cut n paste these later in the season...Beaumont Bowl stays in the west end...

Ozen made a bone head play for the other one. Where was the bruin offense the rest of the game versus a mediocre defense? You know like I know Rey wb is second fiddle to ns and memorial right now. If y'all don't get someone that can spark your offense wb is in for some hurt this year. Your defense saved y'all tonight btw along with Ozen's boneheaded high snaps.
It is the first game...corrections will be made...2 yrs ago when jr took the field he ran for 74 yds on ozen...didn't really throw much...but i do remember how the year finished...

I had said alll along that eventually Jeremy would be the starting QB(predicted by game 3 or 4) but it may come sooner than later. Woodard stated that Jeremy was becoming more comfortable and confident with the offense which will enable him to utilize his athleticism and make plays with his arm and legs.
