I used to know another poster, on another board, who used the "Dude" monicker. He became famous during the Can Rebellion of '05.
viva la can......
I know a little about the Can

There is no possible way thats gonna happen because Price was the only head coach they have ever hired from inside... It isn't happening...
Not true....Pudgy Richardson was hired from inside. He was Sharp's DC, and eventually won a state championship for The Hill. Pudgy's  replacement, Joe Evans, was hired from inside as well. Know your facts before spouting rhetoric............
Those were over 25 years ago. Thats why I didn't include them. Prolly should have though... Sorry
Don't forget that Price himself was hired from within. He was Skidmore's OC.
 3. I highly doubt that the above post was from the HD staff. I think Bobcat 55 is really from the little school north of Daisetta. He is not working 7 X 12, he is stuck in a truck stop booth while finishing his all you can eat buffet. The boy can really put down some grub.
 4. I was a "move-in" my sophomore year...took me about 2 days of 2-a-days to figure it out (after Pete Garner laid the wood to me and then helped me off the ground). But then again, I knew there was something special here, thats why we choose THE HILL. Now I've got two kids who have been here since Kindergarten. There is nothing wrong with "move-ins", they either get a clue quickly or ride the pine. In my humble opinion, move-ins are welcome. Fresh blood is good, but you better respect the tradition and the work ethic or you won't fit in. I played on the same team as Pete. He was indeed a good player
 5. Buddy Tinsley was by far the best lineman to ever play at Barbers Hill. He played for 17 seasons in Canada, and has been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of fame. Donnie Myers (receiver) was a good one. Bill Kilgore was probably as good of an overall football player that ever went through the Hill. J.W. Pittman........three words about him..........fast, fast, fast.
