1. Should be a good game. I believe the teams have played twice in tournaments, splitting those games.
 2. I'm going against the grain, and predicting Coldspring in a shootout.  ;) No doubt that this will be a great game. Won't be able to make it. The wife's office Christmas party it tonight. Good luck to both teams.
 3. Hope to make this one, and hope it will be a great game. Not too far from the house.

Bet it. CS luck has run out.
Don't think luck has anything to do with it. They are just plain good. Seems like you're hoping they lose, before they meet WOS in round 4.
Not hoping anything. If they win then great job. I merely stated that Lorena would win. No I'll will wished from me. That's stupid. I made a prediction, yall are so quick to take things personal, its like short man syndrome. I believe that CS offense has run out of luck. you can't depend on your defense every game. We, WOS, know that. That's all I meant. Now, if you disagree with me than great, that's what fans of their teams do.
I'm not offended, not from Coldspring, and not really a fan. However, I do have a great deal of respect for their team. Your predictions are becoming predictable. I have to wonder if you're simply picking them to lose, for the sake of picking them to lose. I agree with T-Dawd's comment. I'll be in the corner of whoever ends up representing our region.

 7. H-F shot the lights out. I don't remember the score. I tried to forget as quickly as possible. I think H-F could have hit a half-court granny shot blind folded that night. Splendora did not have a good night shooting the ball.
 8. This touches me personally. I have hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM). I was fortunate enough to play thru highschool sports without any problems, and wasn't diagnosed until my 30's. When Reggie passed away, I feared that this would be the case, because cardiomyopathy is a leading cause of sudden death in teenagers. Once I was diagnosed, my first thoughts were for my children. My oldest has been screened, and cleared to participate in sports. My youngest is due to be screened next year. Due to my history, we are fortunate enough for Texas Children's to accept and examine them. Although the screening process is expensive, my hope is that we will come to a place where we screen all children for this. If you have children playing sports, please do whatever it takes to have them screened. The following link takes you to a site that has a nice, brief description of various forms of cardiomyopathy. It also claims to have a list, as a courtesy, of doctors who may be capable of diagnosing the disease. [Hidden Content] God bless Reggie's family. My prayers are with them.
 9. Our boys finished well. Good win to finish the season. We had high hopes and expectations this year. It just wasn't meant to be. I'm proud of all of them!

Get beat by huntington by 4 tds and make the playoffs!
Totally ridiculous...
I would say that Liberty is much improved. Splendora beat Huntington, then turned around and lost to Liberty 49-28. That said, Coldsprings defense will handle Liberty, and Liberty doesn't have that great of a defense. But you never know...
 11. If ifs and buts were candies and nuts, every day would be Christmas.  ;)
 12. The key will be Coldsprings D-Line putting pressure on Huffman's QB. I think Coldsprings secondary is probably their weakest point. I say this one is a toss up.

Good luck Coach Barbay and Coach Mac, wishing everyone stays healthy for the playoffs
Thanks for the history lesson Biggen but lets talk about the game. I watched one of the biggest comebacks in the history of  Coldspring football when they played Bellv. in a playoff game. I think CS was behind by a score of 31-3 at the half and came back to win behind the leadership of Archie Reese. SP They went on to loose that same year in the state championship game. One of the best games I ever seen played and was a really cold night at Moorehead. I forget what year but it was sometime ago.
I do believe it was '92

The Varsity announcer has a script that he follows based on the time. School songs at a certain time, Moment of silence at a certain time, and National Anthem at a certain time, all timed out so that the coin toss and kickoff can start as close to 7:30 as possible. Most coaches know this and have their team on the field. As far as the two mile hike from the dressing room, Splendora's dressing room was the same distance. Huffman Coaches knew the distance from the dressing room because they were on the field warming up before 6:00. I know the bus did not drop the team off at the gate.
Why not 10 minutes? How about 15? Anybody consider it to be poor taste to show up to the field late?
 15. I will be surprised if Cleveland even scores. They run the same offense as Splendora, just not as well. Like somebody said, Coldspring by as much as they want.
 16.
True I don't see Huffman stoppin the coldspring running game, but coldspring won't stop the Huffman O ethier.
It will definitely be a shootout. Coldspring's secondary looked bad at times against Splendora. Lucky for them that our passing offense isn't very effective.
