Yeah, I have known Gator for about 15 years.. And we have visited at many a playoff game over the years. In fact we sat together at Austin a few years ago when we made our trip. I off to watch my daughter play college ball for the weekend. See you Monday. And BEAT BS!!

The Tigers close game with BS was good for them, I think that they will step it up tonight. I am trying to make some changes to my schedule so that i can make it. Doesn't look too good right now. Maybe i will see you there. If i come i will probably have a softball shirt on and sit behind home plate.

Prayers from Pineland for our Sabine County brothers. I was at the first of many funerals yesterday in Pineland. A real tough one..kids from both communities are feeling the loss of these three angels. Also i might add that the 8yr old from the other car also passed earlier this week. Prayers sent to the San Augustine county families as well.

I believe it will be the battle of the undefeateds. Will make for a great district battle. JV and Varsity. Will let you know how it goes.

Favorites to yell at maybe... One guy tossed me a couple of years ago,, now we just joke and rib each other about his calls.. Of course my kid has graduated, so the game has changed for me.. Until the ref steps over the line!!!

Hey Owl 24.. Ya'll turned it on last night.. You did a good job. The second half run really knocked the Tigers out of their game. Don't think that i have ever seen the "big MO" change so fast..... Coach Jackson get's an Oscar for his tactics of intimidating the ref's. : Thought i had seen the worst ref'd game before, but last night'S 2ND half takes the cake....... WS needed a wake up call and i hope that last night will get them on the right path... Good Luck and represent the district into the playoffs, cause i know that our district is a lot stronger than people give us credit.... WS 8-1 CH 7-2 B 7-2

Hey CH24,,,this is going to be a good one. Congrats on the Broaddus defeat. Being a home game for the Owls is a plus for them... But you know the speed and pressure that WS defense can put on you. If the Jackson boys are hot they are hot.. But when they are not,,,Owls are not... I just know that after the game both teams fans will have watched an exciting ball game. Game could be interesting...Who will be home in this game??? That is an automatic plus. With Broaddus losing their frontman to a broken ankle that makes it even more interesting... If Chireno is hot it's their game... Two good coaches will be adjusting on the fly. But have to go with Broaddus by 5.. Either way, good luck with the rest of season and represent in the playoffs.

Great game. Total scores by Qtr. B 5 8 16 36 Final WS 11 26 30 49 Final Two very good teams, a battle to the end. 2nd qtr broke the game open for WS and they protected the rest of the game. Hats off to coachs Parks and Bartlet, These are two very athletic teams that will both make deep runs in the playoffs.

As far as i know Chireno is in 3rd. Will post score of B @ WS game tommorrow. Should be a barn burner. Heading to the game now.

I played for Coach Tarver at North Mesquite back in the late 70's. Great guy...Still look back on those times and realize what great leadership that group of coaches gave to a bunch of knotheads that we were..Just saw where one of my teammates just got the AD job at MISD.
