That just sounds funny....the words "Jasper" and "field goal" are seldom used in the same sentence unless the words "missed" or "botched" are used as well.

While we appreciate the support, I don't think Jasper "manhandled" PNG. It was a good showing though. We'll take it. Another good/strong showing against Nederland. Now they count.

I heard that the 2nd stringers were playing the controlled scrimmage. Any truth to that? I don't know if Jasper's deep enough to have many 2nd stringers.

I haven't heard any truth to the rumor that you heard that there was no truth to that rumor... :-\

IMO there will NEVER be another dream team. That first dream team combined old school with new school and was just insanely good.

I've disliked this trade from the beginning. We gave up waaaaaay too much for Jennings. And you can't compare the trade based on the players being on the DL. Look at their performances before getting on the DL. That tells the story.

From the comments I've heard about the controlled scrimmage (both PNG and Jasper fans) it sounded like the teams were evenly matched. I don't know how you can say Jasper wouldn't win. It could go either way IMO.

I think Jasper still runs the spread offense.

I remember that. It got swept under the rug.

That could be said of most teams.
