Bridge city has played Lumberton, HJ, and Silsbee.  We have seen Liberty play too.  I believe the District Championship is Lumberton's to lose, based on the teams we've played or seen play.

In girls, Lumberton should still be strong, based on games so far. Jasper will have a very good side also, and should push the Lady Raiders for 1st. Usually a big dropoff after those two. I have no idea about newcomer Splendora.

Lumberton then Jasper.  And, starting next year, the Jasper train starts rolling compliments of Chris Carter (Robbie too!). (It already started, but it just doesn't get to full speed until next season).

Lumberton should win district. They have talent on the team and they are pretty young with only 4 seniors. Its their district to lose.
