What I understand is Dylan Towery our Saftey that was out most of the year is actually the #2 QB, but Gigout was the healthy alternative. Again i don't know that for sure just what a parent told me at one of the games. Dylan played a couple of games backing up gigout while Denny was out and looked pretty good too. Either one should do fine with some snaps.

I would be surprised if Denny gives up football.....especially being a QB.  Texas and Auggie Garrido have both said in the past that they do not have a problem with signees playing football and/or other sports. Most schools,including the Horns, will still honor the scholarship if it's not a career ending injury.

I think Denny will play and start.  He had a bad game, but being out that long had something to do with it.  It also does not help we did not throw the ball at all this year.  Got to be a little more balanced if you expect someone to play from behind.  Our bigger issue is Oneil at this point.

[/quote]he is not a good passer and bh is not going to change to the spread to protect denny. I think if nick is healthy and can take the beating next year like he did this year bh can have success with or without denny. If nick is not 100% then bh and denny will have problems. Every game I saw bh play this year started with oneal softening up the middle and opening everything else up for other players.

There ya go, proof your in the dark.  Denny is a very good passer, just ask liltex how well he passed in channelview scrimmage where they ran a large percentage of passing plays. Considering who we play in district, little softening required.  ;D

I think baby was smoking again :) we did scrimmage HF and Beaumont ;D He is right though when Denny is on his passing is good. This last game he was way off :( His arm is stonger than Gigout's, but from what I have seen Gigout makes better decisions when passing.

We need more exsplosive tailbacks. Parker had some good runs this year but mainly when he wasnt touched. His highlights do not include trucking anybody or juking them out of their shoes. Duke is fast but same thing and both go down pretty easy. Justin is harder to go down but he is not real fast so he isnt going to get the corner.
There are rumors that Blake Dixon and Pagan are going to play next year. They are both fast and bigger. There is a lot of working out to do in between now and then so we will see. One kid that needs to be recruited to play again is Chance Ireland. Not sure why he stopped playing but he is good size and could help with rebuilding the O line.

I don't believe Denny will let BH down by not playing football next year. He is a three year starter already at QB and he, like his dad (head baseball coach), is fiercely competitive.

Kaleb gives us the best chance to win district.

My concern is with the offensive and defensive lines. We lost two all district OL in Bergrstrom and Knotts, as well as Reggie Rodriguez on the DL. Those guys will be hard to replace.

We are deep at RB although Nick is a big ? at this time. Those young RB's are still growing and getting faster.
