Been hearing a lot of blaming here lately.
People need to realize most of these BC players are basically freshman after all the four year starting graduates that just left. The stands in Buna had some characters that is for sure

You would be surprised if you check a program, BC is far from a bunch of Freshmen. Only 2 sophs on the team and 1 is a kicker. Lots of Seniors but mainly Juniors make up this years team. Not sure about the "blaming" or anything like that, losing or being behind always makes that worse than it really is. Let BC get to the district portion of their schedule and they should be okay. Outstanding defensive effort tonite, most predictions had Jasper scoring at will, runnning up 50 points and so on. Jasper was just as dominant on Defense as well, held BC to 60-70 yards of offense. Don't get me wrong, Jasper was the better team and deserved to win by all means. BC just brought a little more tonite than Jasper may have expected. Bad thing for BC besides losing the game is the injury bug bit the Cardinals bad tonite and that will certainly hurt them against Silsbee next week.

Don't mean freshmen by class but as in by experience it seems as though some are freshman. Several on D though have been key players from last year

not loaded with freshmen, but rather inexpirienced players at the V level. BC will be fine(baring injuries). they'll have a shot at Silsbee and the playoffs no doubt.

[/quote]You are right They will get a shot at Silsbee. Just Like OF and Buna did. Dont see the outcome any better than Thier shots.

BC handled Jasper alot better than I expected.. I was one that predicted Jasper to score 50..it was good to see shugart playing football...I know he has a bright future in baseball.
