Interesting theory.  It also has a lot to do with the pitchers they are facing.  The pitchers in the WS are throwing a lot harder than most kids in league play, thus the ball goes further when hit.

I'm with you 2 sons- its easy to make a composite way hotter just in your own garage- much less a large company that hands out [b]specific[/b] bats.....
