It's funny you bring that up because those fields are next to my neighborhood. Vernon "Mad Max" Maxwell lives a couple houses away from me. It's like a Rockets reunion in Mont Belvieu. ;D

The worker foreman gave me a small piece of scrap turf and I'm making a scrapbook in a plexiglass covered frame for Darrin Wright.He told me he's working for the starting job@nose this yr @SMU.Asked him how it felt to be teamed w/G.Gilbert,he said as long as we win I'm happy.Said he would call Cody (Tulsa)and see how he was doing since nagging hip injury surgery earlier this yr.I hear he's the starter @Qb for the Golden Hurricanes this yr 8) 8)

So i will answer my own question  :) the reason for the new turf is because last time BH was there they got the poop slung out of them. Which caused a major malfuction in the sewer system... so in order to replace the system the turf had to be taken up. So new system for easier drainage when SC comes to town and receives their lose to the BRONCOS  ;D

I heard that since the school starting locking up the laptops that the athletes had nothing else to destroy,so pieces of turf have been missing all summer ;)

[/quote]bh had a kid last year with an issue. The difference was stew had the nads to suspend the kids from dayton for the year for their mistake. Coach gage on the other hand let his play in the one and done playoff game for bh.

      A few Board of Regents agree for sure. Some administrative changes were based in large part on those moves.  Sam Houston is the only one this remotely did any service and of course they moved on as well.

      Thanks for the info, I didn't check the primary vote count.  I was posing that, based on anecdotal evidence, many who did not vote in the primary showed up for the runoff, and apparently voted for Phelan.  My next door neighbors were two that voted runoff only and voted for Covey, so it went both ways I guess.   The Houston Chronicle posted quotes from Covey accusing many Dems of voting in the runoff.  Obviously if they were able to vote in the runoff then they didn't vote in the primary, unless the voted in the Rep primary to begin with of course. .  "Covey’s campaign released a lengthy statement after the results came in, calling Phelan an “Austin swamp creature and King of the Democrats.” The campaign accused Phelan of courting Democrat voters in Jefferson County to bolster his early vote numbers, but Covey did not say he would seek a recount." Anyway, it looks like it's a done deal, until November.

      That is what I thought but I figured you folks would be able to find it for sure. Was a little tougher back then with fewer teams in the playoffs.
