They were in the playoffs anyway because Washington beat Furr in the early game, which eliminated any chance of a tie for fourth place...Wheatley will face Yates Tuesday night in the Bi-District round at Delmar Stadium....Legendary Coach Jackie Carr is out of retirement again, coaching the team along with the JV coach.

My man, that has been the case for over 50 years now at Wheatley!! Thats the ONLY way they know over there!! I will NEVER forget Coach Carr's favorite quote: "I will take a bad shot over a bad pass any day"....This was after he was asked by a local reporter about his teams low shooting percentage one night...CLASSIC COACH CARR!!! ;D ;D ;D
