I would like to be the first to officially welcome DA BRONX to round ball season and put the rest of 19-4A on notice that your days are numbered and get ready for some arse spankin at the hands of DA BRONX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (in my best knowing we did not even win a district game last year but wanting to sound confident voice)  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Actually, I am expecting good things (or at least better things ;)) from this year's Dayton basketball team. They have two players in Da Magazine's Top 110 Senior list, #69 '6"8 post Ryan Alford and #70 '6"7 post Bryan Alford.

This list has some "real" meaning to some folks around here. ;) ::)

Yes.........Grew about another 1 1/2 inch over the summer. Still a little light in da hip but he is one of the fresh I was talkin about.  He has been working on a nice little jump hook that looks like something out of the 80s but is money from about 5-10 ft.  The other fresh is Kenner and boy can he drain a 3. What I like even better is he has got a quick release and doesn't hesitate. Eaglin will struggle for pt behind the twin towers and I would rather see him on JV this year. When the rest of da guards start coming in from football Kenner is gonna struggle for pt also. Would like to see em both on JV this year.

      FBC transfer most likely will. He’s already been on several recruiting visits and has been looking decent on the camp circuit for only being a freshman. I don’t think his family will let him sit past this year though.   JV kid is decent but he’s not really anybody I think you want to rely on competing against good teams with. He has some moxie but he’s smallish and doesn’t have a lot of arm talent. I think he would stay and be a backup no matter what or switch positions if the FBC kid stays.

      I guess you heard wrong? All of the sophomore studs he grew up with are on varsity and several played great in the Spring game, 4/5 will start and the others are in the two deep. Only kid I heard about going to Dayton is the receiver that left to go to North Shore and he hasn’t even been playing football. Leaving was what he felt was best for his kid, sometimes you have to make those choices. My son would’ve left last year too if he could’ve gotten eligible, doesn’t mean I would’ve liked Crosby less.
