Just got word that due to point spread and the three way tie in district 14, it will be Burkeville in and not HI for the third place spot and Sabine Pass in the second place spot.

Where did you get that information, because 1A schools have a +/- 21 point cap in figuring out tie-breakers?

I figured these numbers based off scores between the 3 teams:

I got the information from the coaches in that district. Burkeville is already making arrangements with the coach from Milano.

I don't know how, based on the 3 team tie breaker rules.  Seems fishy to me.

Based on my calculations, the postive point spread amongst Sabine Pass, High Island and Burkeville are Sabine Pass +15, High Island -4, Burkeville -11.  So by the postive points tie breaker.

Ok, there was a scoring issue in the HI & Burk game.  It was orginally posted as 26-16, but in fact it was 34-16 for Burkeville.  So Burkeville & not High Island will be in the playoffs.

If ya'll play them as hard as you played us, you should have no problem. Never been to that stadium so send me some directions if you can, ok? Would be appreciated greatly lol. Was late getting to H-D tonight!

Dang, they didn't kick to our stud returner at all.  Congrats on your win, I believe that both of our schools will make into the 2nd.


Directions from Pineland to Crockett:

North on Hwy 96 to Hwy 103 turn West

Go through Lufkin

Hwy 103 then merges to into Hwy 7 keep going West

Hwy 7 into Crockett, go South on 304 loop, stadium is on the South West side of town
