I never said they didn't show anything, they showed they they were as good as everyone thought they were. That is why they started of the season in the top 10. I said they did what was expected regardless of the score. A win is a win whether it is by 60 or by 1 it all counts the same.

A win is a win, however, the score is important in that it tells how the win or loss was accomplished...If team loses by a point it can be deducted that outcome could have been different given any number of circumstances....That usually isn't going to be the case in a 60 point loss...A blowout points to the fact that a team was unable to compete for a variety of different reasons....Big difference between competing and having a chance to win and having little no chance no matter what happens...

Crockett had given Coldspring everything they wanted and more the last 2 years...While a Coldspring win might have been expected by some no one anticipated the total beatdown that was administered a couple weeks ago...

Whose to say crockett didn't have thier worst game of the season when they played coldspring, whose to say if they played again coldspring has thier worst game and wins by 1 instead of 60. All I'm saying is 17 year olds can be inconsistent and have the best game of thier lives one week and then the worst the next week. Win in the playoffs and in district (when the games matter) tell alot more about how good a team is than a couple of non district blowouts.

Last year Huffman blew everyone out except coldspring and kp. Then we get into playoffs and barley beat silsbee and lose to navasota. In baseball Huffman was ranked in the top ten in the state and just got done beating the number 1 team by 7 yet they lose to la grange in the third round and Robstown the number 1 team they beat  goes to state. You can't tell alot about a team until the games start to count.

    • No chance in hell that this pos is found guilty.
    • After his silly conviction, President Trump has raised over 200 Million dollars!  The people are seeing through it!  Excellent!
    • Let’s see if joe biden’s words about no one is above the law, made after the rigged trial of President Trump, rings true with his po💩son.  Hopefully, but I’m not going to hold my breath, they put the sorry sob in prison.
    • I liked his no bull crap attitude. He was a man of very few words. Extremely strong and freaky athletic!!! As close as possible to being the best offensive lineman to ever play the game. I hope his family finds peace without him!!! RIP #73
    • Chester, a small town in NE Tyler County.  A town that is seeing growth with the addition of a national chain store and a new school being built.  If you travel 287 toward Dallas from the Golden Triangle you have probably passed through Chester.  Things tend to stay pretty consistent and it is your typical small town.   A trip to state is the buzz around town, and the talk before church services begin on Sunday.  This year’s graduating class will number 11.  We don’t have a radio station that covers the Yellowjackets.  We are never a lead story on any of the news stations that broadcast to our community. With all that said, there is a closeness and sense of pride in our community.  Every community rallies behind their kids as they progress into the playoffs.  We are proud of our boys as they have represented our community well and with class. We invite you to follow our boys as they go to state.  We welcome the greater SETX communities as honorary Yellowjackets.  Tune in, watch live or come to Round Rock personally and join us in supporting the Chester Yellowjackets.  Go ‘Jackets!!! ⚾️💜💛⚾️🟣🟡⚾️💜💛⚾️
