Liberty hasnt played very good teams but yes he is the best qb in the district as of now
neither has huffman.. fitz was 2nd best last year and deberry is gone.. townley put up 11-27 against hj.. so for you to say for now? who's going to surpass him?
I think we will see who the best qb is when those two match up in the district opener...

Towny is good but come on now, DeBerry was a gamer 38 tds and 9 ints, looked like a young gun slinger. Just imagined if he would of focused on football more than threemonths a year........ Easy now
Really does not matter who is better because Cole is at college and we now have Preston. Glad he is here and has some talent.

This is why i hate stats lets see what kind of stats he has when he plays against a playoff team

No one is knocking the kid. Were just saying its a little to early to be crowning him king of the world. Remember everybody has only played TWO games. No one knows what could happen in the next 8. And last time I checked a QB's job wasn't to just pass it was to get his team wins. In that case then Scott from coldspring is the best, and will be till someone beats him.

I mentioned this earlier, maybe on another topic, but Kashmere had a QB that was awesome. He threw a nice pill, killed us out of the pocket on srambles, avioded sacks, and THEY LOSS. The QB is one man of 11. This is a good discussion and actually exciting as we all make an arguement over our team being the best. The kid from Huffman is a good QB but will be only as good as the O-line and the receivers. He can throw the rock with anyone. I guess my point is, this is 11 man football not 1 man football. BTW is the kid the same kid from last year that threw like 16 picks? Just asking. If so, he has made some nice adjustments and we look forward to playing you guys on opening day of district.

It may be 11 man football, but only 1 player touches the ball on every play. ;)

Since the title of this thread is 22-3A passing and not Huffman vs Kpark ill get back to the subject, after seeing Townley finally, I'm glad to say I'm done having to believe that he has a "pro" arm, the kid has good footwork, and a lot of throw power, but he is not very accurate, and misses open receivers quite frequently, a little indecisive as well, he was passing up receivers, and those plays were resulting in sacks. Porter's quarterback, [who is verbally committed to Illinois ] is way better than Townley, unless he just had a bad game or something. Porter's quarterback was a better runner by far, had the same throw power and was a lot more accurate, his line was a little better than Huffman's i'll give him that.

He struggled ALL night long. He took some sacks that he should not have. He made bad decisions. Receivers dropped some balls. Defense must have played 85 plays. Long night for them Falcon boys. That being said, Preston is a good QB learning a new system. Confidence is little shot right now but he has all the tools. Great kid and knows he made mistakes and guarantee he works thru them. Still have another couple of practice weeks and a game on Friday night to get it together. We saw them Liberty boys up in the stands and I bet they were licking their chops. See you guys in a couple of weeks!

Ok 6 I give you that we lost last night and to a good team BUT you coming on here ripping on a seventeen year old kid is CS. I dont recall any of us talking BS over the last couple of years when your team struggled. Preston will be ok and so will our team but 6 do us a favor and keep your gap shut about our kids.

If you have a problem with us bashing your qb maybe you should tell your fellow huffman fans to keep their gap shut about our kids, because Fitzwater a 16 year old kid takes just as much or more bashing on this site than Townley, Townley is not terrible by any means I just don't believe he and his wide receivers were better than porter on that particular night and liberty handled porter very well
and I understand you guys didn't dog liberty when they were bad but we weren't talking about getting 1st or 2nd in district when we struggled but you guys are, not that huffman has no chance that's not what I'm saying at all its just liberty knew they had no chance the past few years so no one dogged us just like you won't here liberty or huffman dog tarkington but all of this criticism comes from the simple arguement of who is better out of liberty and huffman.

    • Where were the 8 Omaha teams in D1's preseason top 25 poll... 2. Florida 8. A&M 9. Tennessee 13. N.C.State 14. Virginia 15. North Carolina Kentucky - unranked Florida State - unranked
    • That TDS is really flaring. Now do Biden. You have way, way, way more material. And keep that bitter "you are better than me" jealousy tone you have with Trump. You know Biden, the one you want everyone to vote for instead of Trump. Somehow you didn't acknowledge my pleas for you to die a painful death. I was quite certain that is how you would have interpreted my previous post. I guess when your focus is Trump 24/7, nothing else matters.
    • I have a better one. The point that nobody wants to acknowledge is that Dems are crossing over to vote Trump in the primaries and in the general so he will win the presidency. That way Trump will get the blame when the Dems implement their sinister plan to deport all of the minorities in the country. They have already laid the groundwork...convincing everyone that Trump and Republicans are racist (without providing any proof). Then it will be just a matter of time to execute their White supremacy plan of the great purge of the dirty, unwashed, heathen, non-Whites that roam freely in this country. I think my theory is more viable than your theory. Maybe we can get some other ridiculous scenarios so we can start a poll.
    • But that’s what Trump’s fanboys don’t understand.  When he talked about sexually assaulting women, y’all laughed it off as “locker room talk.”  When it was proven that he raped E. Jean Carroll, you cried that it was all an injustice… a lie. Even though he’d already confessed to doing the same thing to other women.  John McCain has suffered and sacrificed more for his country than practically anybody, except possible gold star families… and Trump called him a loser or something to that effect. “Oh, it was a joke that no one was supposed to take seriously.” But when Trump, after disrespecting the sacrifices of one of our most valiant, y’all are like “just because Trump didn’t go to Omaha Beach doesn’t mean he isn’t pro military!” Really? All you have to do is listen to what he said about McCain’s service. Not McCain as an opponent, not McCain’s political views… about the fact that the man was tortured, probably raped, and who knows what all else for over five years for swearing an oath and putting on the uniform.  But all of y’all supposedly “pro military” people just laughed along with Trump. “Good one, Sir! Maverick my new-hind! Filthy Rino!”  I don’t understand how the same people (y’all) who probably always say “thank you for your service” to any veteran still support a guy who craps on the ones who suffered the most on our behalf.  It’s baffling.
