Second half they ran two 12 minutes quarters in real game simulation but with only initial contact hits and no returns on special teams. Jasper started the half with an 8 play drive that ended with a missed field goal attempt on the 8th play. Runs: 4 attempts for 26 total yards Pass: 3 attempts with 1 complete for 39 yardsBC then had a 4 play drive that ended with a fumble on the 4th play.Runs: 3 attempts for 10 yards with one resulting in fumblePass: 1 attempt with 1 completion 5 yardsJasper then had a 4 play drive that ended with a 4 and out and turning it over on downs.Runs: 1 attempt for 2 yardsPass: 3 attempts with no completion. BC then had a 8 play drive that ended with a punt. They did have a 62 yard TD run called back to spot of foul which netted a 30 yard run but negated the TD.Runs: 4 attempts for 64 total yardsPass: 4 attempts with no completionsJasper then had a 9 play drive that ended with punt.Runs: 5 attempts for total of 5 yardsPass: 4 attempts for 4 completions for a total of 57 yards.BC then had a 4 play drive that resulted in a 3 and out punt.Runs: 2 attempts for total of 6 yardsPass: 1 attempt with no completionsJasper then had a 9 play drive that ended in a INT turnover but did include a 33 yard TD run that was called back for penalty. Real game atmosphere including some "defense" chants from the Jasper faithful in the stands, that was great! Both teams had a few costly turnovers and penalties. Each team had scores called back due to penalties. Jasper showed some nice team speed and they have some quick running backs who can cover some ground. The Bulldog defensive front has some athletic guys as well. Speaking of speed, the run Dishon made was ridiculous! Hit of the night belongs to BC's Mitchell Hubbard, the Jasper receiver never saw it coming as he crossed the middle. Both squads shook off some rust and played well during the 2 quarters of live game action, each team should look forward to their respective seasons with much optimism.
