Opened district play with consecutive 7 inning complete game wins over Westbrook (2-0) and LaPorte (5-0) allowing 0 runs, 3 hits, 2 walks, 14 K combined. However did take the loss against Channelview on a walk off homer Friday.

Matt Smith - Diboll  .833 batting average, .893 on base percentage thru 3 games that includes Jasper, Hudson and Central.

I've seen

Vidor at Nederland...........Bubba Maxwell (Vid) stole the show 3-4, 5 or 6  errorless plays at SS, closed the game from the bump.

Lumberton at LCM............Kody Smith (LCM) 15 k's

PNG at Nederland.............Dillon Duplant (Ned) complete game, 3 hitter I believe.

Correction: Nederland played at Vidor. Same result...different place.

Colby price coming off a complete game against Buna... 13 SO gave up 1 earn run. He has made 3 starts and is 3-0 with 40 strikeouts.. he has also hit 2 homeruns

id have to say the pitching performance of the sophmore from nederland.he also went 2for3 at the plate i believe . but to only give up 2 hits to port neches is something special.
