Surprised Gilfilllian did not make the team. He led the Bucs in rebounds (16), points (13), and assists in the New Waverly game and was the rebounding and assist leader and 2nd in scoring vs Woden. Tallied double /doubles in most of the games this season.

I was very surprised that Austin did not make all region.

Surprised no mention of Chris Cunningham.

Anyone surprised Chris Cunningham from Nederland didn't make it? He made game-winning '3'  against Huntsville, and scored final 4 pts (at FT line) against Humble. Leading scorer in 2 of 4 playoff games.

Just a note, the all region teams are not based solely on how a player performed in playoffs. It's a total season award.

With that said, I personally would have Cunningham on the list and had I had to make a choice between the two, would have him there instead of Smith.

Congrats to Zay and Jamazon for representing Kountze.

I expect to see big things in the next 2 years from Powell with him only being a SOPHOMORE and the shortest player on the court at times.  :D :D

Kountze will be better next year.
