I believe you've got it backwards.  RSS varsity is/was scheduled to play WB at home on the 8th.

Interesting.  Just went back and checked the Westbrook schedule.  it shows both JV and Varsity in Baytown, JV at 6:45 and Varsity at 7:00.  That's unusual for us.  Typically, if JV is at home, Varsity is away.   What do you show for JV?

Maybe our field is still too wet.  i think varsity was originally scheduled for Beaumont.

The RSS schedule shows Sophs at 4:45 and  JV at 7 in Beaumont.

Just announced here at RSS that the Soph and JV games have been cancelled.

Varsity will play in Baytown at 7.

All these Westbrook winning district gossip had me believing the hype.Pledger tossed a one hitter today against the brook.The bats looked like they were left in Beaumount Texas....2-0 Rangers win......

Not a real strong district. As poorly as they have played, RSS will more than likely finish in the top 4. Pledger is as good as any #1 in 21-5A. Sterling's problem is who will be their #2 and #3.

What hype were you hearing?  They were 4-7 coming in to this game and have one quality win on the season.  they are ranked 14th in our AREA poll, behind much smaller schools.  IF they get a couple of pitchers back, they should be able to compete in our weak district, but I haven't heard anybody say they were district favorites.
