With the basketball playoffs be pushed back to Wednesday and Thursday due to a conflict with the TAKS test why in the world can they play softball or baseball on these same nights?What am I missing here ????

I really don't know ST413, it dawned on me tonite on the way home from a softball game.Afew years back the Taks test and the basketball playoffs conflicted in the first round and most games were local.They still had to be played on Wednesday so I'm not sure what's goin on with this.

Because the UIL dictates the playoff scheduling.

Schools dictate the regular season scheduling as long as it doesn't violate the UIL rules of games played in a week.

They did push back softball games due to TAKS testing.

ThEy played softball last night and baseball tonight. Ags the TEA calls the shots on this one I believe instead of the UIL.
