Woodville vs. Crockett/@Lufkin Hudson 7:30PM/Predictions or Comments??

Crockett #2 in the state. Woodville unranked. SPEED will be evident in this game. If Crockett overlooks them, they'll get in a huge bind. Crockett is overrated IMO. They're are very tough though. Wville has seen better in silsbee and just as good in EC. I'm predicting a good one in lufkin.

Anything can happen in the playoffs, but Crockett will have to play very badly for Woodville to have a chance.

You might be right. But Crockett is a run and gun team that gets frustrated by slow play withhold ball handlers. It'll be tricky for Crockett.

When di Woodville turn into a ball control type of team, the times I have seen them they have pushed the tempo just as hard as Crockett.

Ok well then let me rephrase. Lol. there will be times where they will need to slow it down. Crockett as a team is more athletic than woodville. They can keep up. Woodville will have to play smart and take advantage of opportunities. Hit easy shots. Shoot regularly. And limit turnovers. They do all that, theyll be fine.

Yeah and I also saw them play against kountze. They didn't do anything that impressed me but run. They couldn't shoot very well.

Crockett has one or two that are decent shooters, but as a whole that is their Achilles heel.  They are very aggressive, hit the boards very hard and have a pretty good inside game.  The team that beats them will either be a team that makes them play a possession game or a team that catches them on an off night.  Or a combination of both.

You are absolutely right. They fould us so much tonight it was ridiculous. They will get beat. They are overrated. Woodville was in the game but just didnt get aggresive like they were.
