Serious Question ?

I've been wondering about this question all of my life , Why are African-Americans faster than Caucasian's

(I'm am not a racist , sorry if I offended anyone lol)

Don't quote me but this is what I've read in an article somewhere.

Genetics give them more twitch fibers and testosterone along with more muscle and less fat.

Again don't quote me on that but it may help to look it up I am sure there has been research done on it.

One theory might be that in human evolution, the African continent was a much more hostile environment and the people there developed superior abilities to survive.
In the case of "African Americans" there is a much more sinister and controversial theory. I hesitate to mention it, but I don't really see it as racist (at least not anymore) so...
It is thought that since a lot of the "black" population in the USA used to be slaves, that they're "owners" were engaged in breeding programs to produce better stronger workers. This left the USA with a high ratio of black people with superior physical prowess and these genetic traits were past down to modern day.

Wow are you people serious? I don't think it has anything to do with race. I think it has more to do with the environment that the different groups were raised in. I think everybody would agree that the majority of inner city communities have a high population of black people, just like the majority of suburbs have a high population of white people. Now look at the differences in these communities. In the inner city there are much less form of entertainment that are available inside the house and is some cases the homes do not even have air conditioning. This drive the kids outside for entertainment and in the inner city basketball is very popular. Basketball is a high endurance sport that would increase overall athleticism if played regularly. Just look at how many pro football players are interested in playing in the nba if there is an NFL lookout. Now the suburbs have more incentives for the life to stay inside, which means they are not going to be as athletic as an inner city kid who might be playing basketball every day. Another great example of this is back in the day when colleges would go to the farms to recruit the big "country strong" kids. They were typically stronger than kids who grew up in the city because the had to do heavy lifting on a daily basis. It has nothing to do with race at all.
