Not all BESR are legal for 2011. The simple answer is that if the bat is composite it must be BBCOR with a few exceptions. aluminum BESR bats are legal.

You are correct. Forgot about composite. We do not use them, slipped my old mind.

At the UT Alumni game 2 home runs were hit during BP by the pros, both just cleared the wall, wind blowing out. The pros were trying real hard to get them out with the new bats. The best ball hit all day was a oppo off the top of the fence by a wooden bat, or a "mother nature god given bat".

honestly, the new bats have not much difference, this past weekend we had 3 homeruns with them in our opening series with San Jac. you hit it in the right spot like your suppose to the ball flies off almost the same. makes you a better hitter also.
