Ozen Sophomore Dominique Brannon wins Gold in girls High Jump clearing 5ft. 6 in. at the Carl Lewis Invitational held at the University of Houston January 15, 2011.  According to ESPN Rise/DyeStat Dominique's unattached performance is ranked tied for US #7 High School girls indoor T & F.

For her to jump that in Jan indoor is very good. Dyestat, one of the more recognized track and field sources in the country,  who was actually on hand covering the meet at which Brannon jumped this height, recognizes 5'1" as a national elite indoor and 5'3" outdoor. The best girls in the state/nation are around 5'8-5'11 right now. Hope this sheds some light.
