As was announced on KFDM Channel 6's Sports Xtra, the following are the Players of the Week for Week 9:


[b]Offense- Hunter Gonzales, QB, Little Cypress-Mauriceville[/b]

In a crucial district game, LC-M's offensive leader came up big!  Gonzales completed 27 of 38 passes for 405 yards and 5 touchdowns Friday night in the Bears' 57-49 overtime victory over Livingston.


[b]Defense - Joe Lynch, LB, West Orange-Stark[/b]

One of the main cogs in the Mustang's Chain Gang Defense was operating at full throttle last week.  Lynch had 12 tackles, 3 of those for losses and 2 sacks Friday night in West Orange-Stark's 36-8 win over Silsbee.
