It'll be either close or a blow-out. B.c.'s qb gave us a fit in the first half last year, he can pass and run so he will give our D a challenge. Bc isnt the same team Silsbee played last year. I believe the only reason of the close game at Orangfield was because of Silsbee having a Bi-week, same happened to Lumberton they won alota games had a bi week then bam 45-0 loss. I think itll be a close one..

If Silsbee's defense can't defense the spread, zone read offense They will be in trouble early,Menard is as good at running back as he is at QB...Kirbyville has given up 71 points in 7 games...Bridge City put 31 of them on us...Not saying the Wildcat's have the best defense around, but they have been consistent this year....BC by 7+... ;)

is the menard kid from bridge city a one man team  are what.looks like to me of you can stop him you win maybe ;)

he is not the only weapon at BC...
but when you have a QB that can run as hard as him and has a cannon of an arm, you have to respect the run a heck of alot more than some other teams... and once you start over committing to the run, he can and will let it fly through the air for some major yardage...
every team has their 1 or 2 stars... with or without them it is still a team sport, but with them it will keep the defense on their heels and makes the hesitate on their assignment...

Wow really, can't give my Bobcats any credit at all. Maybe Orangefield had a little to do with that game being close!!!

I think Silsbee has to be thinking how in the heck can we stop Bridge City! Will be a good game! I expect Silsbee to come out with a atitude in this one. Close game but I think BC may win. Silsbee can't stop the run to save their lives. Maybe they can get a few stops and try to out score them.

as we all know by now ,the tigers are a BIG PLAY TEAM and can score in a hurry as we have seen.i have read on some of the post on here that the cards are hurting and (KEY) players out for this game so thay say. but if its true what alot of people say about the tigers D, this will be a good game

Two things:

1. BC's offensive line deserves a lot of credit for working extremely hard over the past two seasons... THEY ARE STRONG

2. The only time I've seen Menard rip the passing game was when the Cards played Kirbyville, they had to in order to get back in the game... unless Silsbee gets mowed down the entire first half, I can see the coaches showcase Matt's arm in this game Friday night a little more.

BC has two huge weeks in a row, so I'm pretty sure they won't be lacking focus.

Here's the recap from last season's game, a 28-21 victory by the Tigers (see if you can identify last years game changer?)

Based on the historical data posted on page no. 2 by AAW, BC has a 2% chance of winning the ball-game. However, since the Tigers are 30-6-1 against the cards and are the reigning district champs, I've gotta go with the tigers by +6 in this one. Best of luck to both teams.

You need to check your math.

One of the first things I learned in Statistics is that probability has no memory. Silsbee has dominated the series but I think BC takes this one.

Man Silsbee better not even show up. Some people are making BC out to be the 2nd coming of Lake Travis. ::) ::) ::)
Silsbee is the defending district champs.

Anyone want to make a bet on the game? Ill bet you 10lbs of deer sausage and 10lbs of Pecan Smoke sausage from Chappel Hill Smoke House that Silsbee loses by more than 2 TDs. Any takers?

Me thinks you're full of sausage. :o

    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!

    • Come on dude, don’t take anything away from the kids on the field. If you want to talk uncharacteristic, we made what 3 or 4 errors in game one. Y’all had 2 EARNED runs.  Defense is normally our strong suit. Your ace didn’t strike out a single one of our kids. Like I said also, you did not out hit us in game 1. Hell you barley out hit us in game 2. We had all the uncharacteristic walks. Josh pitched a hell of a game is what made that game what it was.
