IMO it was gonna be CS then Huffman for district all the way--by far the best teams in this district.  A dog fight for third--probably Shepherd, unless Cleveland finds themselves.

Coldspring is a very good football team and will advance way past round one.

in the state and kville already beat them

That was their first game kc 9876...Just as Kirbyville has improved since then,So has Coldspring...One victory don't necessarily guarantee another one.... ;)

Huffman will be pressed to make it past round 1, most likely Silsbee, but anything can happen. We'll see. Truth be told I'm looking forward to Huffman @ Coldspring more than any post-season matchup at the moment.

Want to make a few comments about the Coldspring / Shepherd game. First thing is Coldspring is a very good football team and I will give them that. However, they showed no class by placing a large banner on their bonfire pile that read, "Shepherd Sucks". All of the parents, grandparents and younger siblings of the Shepherd Junior High and JV teams viewed this as the pulled into the Coldspring stadium. Then the vidieo of thier pep rally was worse. Shepherd may not be the greatest team in the district this year but they do have class. When Coldspring came to the Pirate Stadium they were met by signs in tribute to Coach Barbay's father as well as the entire team meeting them in the middle of our field for a moment of silence also in his honor. So yes Coldspring did when the game in points but Shepherd was far above in class.

And wasn't there some vandalism of the pressbox in Cleveland two years ago during the week Cleveland and Shepherd played?  Painted in blue.  Musta been those classless people from Coldsprings painting blue stuff on our pressbox!!  Mystery Solved!  Tell Shaggy and Scooby we can head back home now.
