54-0 is tough.  It could have been worse.  What Dayton fans should remember is that the broncos have a 1 - 3 record and there are still a lot of areas that need to be improved on.

Now trucked, was the big mouth with nothing to back it up statement directed at your buddies bh89 and bhfan or Dayton posters.  I would say that Dayton posters had their smack backed up pretty well.

I knew what was coming. Dayton's 0-3 and BH's 1-2 were miles apart. It was not directed at Dayton. Goodluck the rest of the way!

On another note, I think it will be hard for you to pick up Amanda or any other chicks for that matter with your choice of make-up. ;D

That's not make up, that's the residual of a dang good time.  Amanda might be interested, l hear chicks dig a project. And I am the fixer upper of all fixer uppers.

I don't think you should feel bad for the kids. The season just started and they have a bran new offense. That game was like putting men up against boys(don't think I need to clerify which one is which haha) but everytime a boy got the ball he dropped it cause a man wa running after them. Very good victory for a strong Dayton team and also a good loss for BH. Maybe the coaches will open their eyes and find a better offense that doesn't rely on a weak o-line. ;D

I saw every play of the game and while there may have been some subs playing on Dayton's defense in the 4th quarter, #45 and #20 were still on the field for Dayton on the final BH drive of the game.

I have seen most of the BH football games for the last 10+ years and here is where the problem lies in my opinion. When BH was 3A, most of the kids played multiple sports. A lot of Barbers Hill's kids have moved to 1 sport since the move to 4A. There have been a lot of good athletes sitting in the stands the last couple of years during BH football season. While there are and have been many reasons for this the #1 priority for Coach Gage and his staff needs to be to get these athletes back into the system.

In years past the athletic programs have preached participation development versus winning on the subvarsity and junior high levels but in reality this has not been the case. The BH administration as well as the athlete has to realize that it takes more than star athletes to field competitive programs. The staff has to develop depth and the kids/parents have to encourage participation even if you are only part of what makes up the depth of the team.

This has been common across all sports.

You can be the greatest coach in the world but if your talent doesn't match your opponent you are going to lose more often than not. BH simply does not have the speed or depth to match the better football programs and they are also very young at the QB position.

The whole offense were subs all of the 4th qrt. and alot of them were sophomores. We left our defense starters in because BH left all of their starters in on offense were not going to completely lay down. BH had alot more players on their roster than Dayton and most of them were bigger too I don't think participation is the problem. If you would utilize the passing game more and use those big tall receivers I think you could have a heck of a team !

Hey Toups,

Did you catch any video of Ripkowski puking up some of that fluorescent Bronco potion.  I think it would make a pretty good avatar.  What a monster.
You saw that? At first I thought he was just swishing water in his mouth then spitting it out. Then it happened.. I felt bad for him.

If you a mod  take down our post MAN UP and send us a pm and tell us why. Not that hard being a man PROMISE.
Elaborate please.  I also think that whenever a post is removed, it should be replaced with a simple message that says "Post removed by x-mod/admin on date and time for reason" this could be done with some simple programming.  I think 99.9% of the mods do a great job unless you start talking about 20-4a.
