frame for scoreboard is up and it's MASSIVE!

Heard that they will begin laying the turf in about 2 weeks

Went by the stadium yesterday evening.  Does anyone know what the base material is that they are laying the turf on?  It looks like limestone but the is hard to believe with just a thin layer of turf.  Seems that is would be very hard field.  Maybe it is some kind of rubber material.  Anyone have the answer?

I would figure that they would have the cam on the field since they are putting the mid-field logo down as well as the southland conference logos.

saw the frame for the scoreboard the other day when i went by there to get tickets for mcneese game....it looks a lot larger in person than it does on the webcam...very impressive!  8)

It looks like the Web Cam is offline. I have been trying to get on it yesterday and this morning and it says that the site is unavailable.

Possibly the major rain storm at Lamar yesterday knocked it off. Not sure just thinking of possibilities.
